LS wiring harness ?
Hi everybody, I'm new to this site. I am building a Pro Touring 69 Camaro with full Ride Tech front and rear suspension, DSE mini tubs and 2002 LS1 with a 4l60e out of a 2002 Camaro. My question is I am laying out my PSI harness and I cant decide were to drill the 2" hole through the fire wall. Can someone post some pics of this. I also am planning on putting a Vintage Air unit in also and don't want it to interfere with that. Thanks

Come on guys. No one has any pics ?

Actually PSI on their instructions show where to drill the hole.
6.1 Mark the position where the wiring harness will come through the firewall with a metal punch. (Typically near the passenger side cylinder head) Using a 2” hole saw, drill a hole in the firewall. Make sure to debur the hole with a file. That's where i drilled mine. Just about 1" outboard of where the head meets the block |

Thanks guys, keep it coming. Are you running vintage air vega$69?

Harness
Todd
I routed mine above the Vintage Air unit which allowed me to pass the main harness wires over top of the unit to the ECU located above the glove box. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...psfs756qxs.jpg |

Thanks for the pic Vince. I take it that's a LS3? What kind of HP is it making to the wheels?

Grommet
lmfao, too funny Vince ...
So, thats the grommet that comes with the PSI harness, and behind that I made a 3" round plate (painted black) to help support the weight of the harness in the firewall. Todd .. to answer your question 674 Hp and 700 tq at the wheels Cheers Steve |
