Mark sent over this pic to post, along with an update on his progress. All the work on the drivetrain, plumbing, exhaust, exterior trim, brakes, fuel system, and chassis is done. He's working on the wiring and the interior. Here's a peak.

Thanks Mark!

When will we be able to see the whole thing?

Teetoe_Jones 06-26-2006 08:19 PM

Technically, it only has DSE upper/lower control arms on the front which have little effect on the overall front geometry. The upper control arms retain the factory mounting locations, and it is topped off by AFX spindles, Bilstien coil overs, and (soon to come) ATS splined sway bar.
The LS7 install is very well done, should be a killer article.

Tyler

my point was that i was surprised not to see some high dollar front subrame and the same for the rear . I was referring this info from what Mark told me on the powertour. Sorry if i was wrong

Teetoe_Jones 06-27-2006 02:43 PM

I honestly think he would have run the new DSE frame if it was released in time.

Tyler

Datsbad 06-27-2006 08:51 PM

McssGmachine 06-27-2006 11:33 PM

Is he taking it to Woodward?

ohcbird 06-27-2006 11:42 PM

Tyler-
Did you guys do the rear sway bar for that, or is this another DSE surprise?

Yes, inquiring minds want to know!!

Teetoe_Jones 06-28-2006 09:41 AM

We had nothing to do with the rear suspension. We did the LSX engine mounts, the LS7 dry sump oil pan, our tri-y stainless headers, our T56 install kit, and our AFX spindles. We will be supplying our Spline-Tune rate adjustable sway bar after we finalize the arms.

I can't wait to see this at sema...

Tyler,

Tyler, what arms? Come on and spill the beans :D
An inquiring customer wants to know...

olds87 06-28-2006 12:52 PM

It's the end of the rear sway bar, I think.

Teetoe_Jones 06-28-2006 02:31 PM

Similar to that rear bar, but ours will go into a factory front sub. We just need to do a slight tweak to make the cost of making them lower.
That's all I will tell oyu for now. Those that have our catalog know what I'm already talking about.

Tyler

:captain: OK, I just looked at the catalog, now I know. Thanks.

I talked to Mark the day before yesterday and he told me it will indeed be there, he's just not sure "where exactly". He's trying to secure a spot. Actually he plans to have it finished sometime after the July Shutdown.

awr68 06-30-2006 05:05 PM

Somebody PLEASE take a camera and a lot of pics for us that can't make it...thanks!! :D

awr68 06-30-2006 05:08 PM

I noticed he bolted this SF to the SFCs, I bet the new DSE SF gets put under that car soon.....
