Wegner LS3 TVS2300 900hp
Item Location (City/State): ok
Price:18,500 Description: This is the engine that started it all for the Wegner TVS2300 blower kits. I asked Casey to develop a front drive system for the TVS2300 and this monster was the result. 914hp @ 6400rpm and 870tq @ 4400rpm. That was also done on 1 3/4" headers and stock sized LS3 throttle body. It now has a Nick Williams DBW102mm throttle body so with that and larger headers there is probably more power left in this beast. Also installed on the engine is a set of one off billet valve covers I had Casey make to mimic the 2300 case. Everyone that has seen them thought they were made by Magnuson. Only thing not included is coils or plug wires. Engine is brand new, has dyno time only on it. Over $23k was spent on this monster. Asking $18,500, may take partial trade on LS3 or LS7, but prefer to sell outright. Here are the specs: - LS3 balanced & blueprinted aluminum block (4.080” bore and 4.00” stroke - 418 cid) with Callies CompStar 4.00” cranks and 6.125” CompStar rods and Diamond Racing forged, dished 4.010” pistons with steel top ring sets and moly coated skirts. Full gasket set, rod and main bearings, timing set. Engine assembled and dynoed by Wegner Motorsports - 9.43:1 compression ratio - Wegner Motorsports L92 CNC ported heads, Race Flow stainless steel intake valves, Manley Inconel Extreme Duty exhaust valves, Manley Nextech dual valve springs and retainers - Magnuson supercharger - painted MP2300 6th generation, 4 lobe, 160° helix rotor design with internal bypass valves - Magnuson cogged belt drive - Ported lower tub manifold on supercharger - ARP 12 point head/main stud kit - Nick Williams 102mm throttle body with custom billet inlet - Comp camshaft: 237°/243° int/exh @ 0.05” duration - .600”/.600” lift @ 115° LSA - GM 1.7:1 rockers with upgraded trunions, bearing, rings, and bars - GM lifters and lifter holders - FRAM Autolite spark plugs - 85 lb. FAST high impedance injectors - Valley tray - Melling high-flow oil pump - Autokraft oil pan and pickup - Crank, cam, and water temp sensor Also included is all the parts that came with the Magnuson kit which was for a 5th Camaro. i will have the motor out of the car this weekend and the dust cleaned off it for any serious buyers that want more pics. Engine is out of the car, still needs a final cleaning. There is a few spots on a couple pulleys where the anodizing is bad. I will have those parts re-anodized before shipping engine to its new owner. Price dropped to $18k shipped.

what electronics did you run on this Mike? I assume its set up with 58?
|
Yes it is 58x. Wegner had their own setup for the dyno and don't remember what they used, so no harness or computer has been purchased for it yet.

When was the last time it was run and is that mud I see on the pan? Did it get stored outside at any point? I know its pretty humid in your area. Just worried about corrosion on the cylinder walls. |
Here is a video of it being run at Wegner Automotive. The ECU could be Pantera EFI 882, because Lance Nist mentioned that Wegner used their components. You can use a GMPP harness as well. Jeff
