"Despicable" 67' Camaro

I thought I would share my project here, as I am here daily getting info about how to build her. She is listed on the Team Camaro site as well. I figured since I am trying to make her an autocross/street car I would post her up here as well. I hope you enjoy the progress I am making on her.

This is when I was bringing her home from sitting in storage for almost 10 years:

Had to take almost 2 years off from working on her. Bought a house and found her a permanent home:

Saved up quite a bit of cash and splurged on some parts I have dreamt about for years:

Powder coating and installation of the rear suspension to come this week. I should have the center section back from the builder this week also.

I'm pretty excited over here!

Very cool! Nice progress! It's always nice to finally get the parts you have wanted for a long time! Keep the pics coming!

Like a lot of people on here... I know the feeling of just wanting it to be done, haha. Good luck moving forward. It will all be worth it in the end.

That's the plan! I want to drive this thing worse than anything. I almost can't even watch Velocity anymore because I get all jealous of these projects that are done. lol

Exactly! That's my problem too, more ideas and better ways of doing stuff. I just wish I had some of the metal working tools those guys have. They make it look easy to make new panels and custom pieces.

removing the old rearend

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...%20rearend.jpg

Ran into a bit of a snag, and both of my grinders took a crap on me. The stupid bolts that go into the J nuts in the pockets for the leaf springs are just spinning. I will have to cut those off with a dremel. It's always something. LOL More playtime in the garage.
