66 chevyII

Well guys heres the latest car getting ready to go to its new home. We did this car from ground up. Its original color combo, we added the top and trim.It wasnt available until 67.its running a zz4 crate motor and a 700r4 trans.air ride suspension shock waves up front and 4 link air bar in the rear.it rides great with the new air bar. Just thought we would show off a little of our work since were pretty new here. Thanks Paradise Road rod & custom. Tim Bair / Jim Moss

Air ride said its bolt in but its not quiet that easy. You will need to weld the brackets on the rear housing and set the pinion angle. and a little bit of fab. for the tank and compressor, and air valves. If you are interested in a system were are putting together a great discount on air ride systems to run as a special. Let me know if you interested. Thanks Tim.PRRC.

Yea I figured I would have to weld some tabs on the rear end.....
yea i would be interested....

Just wondering if the photos you submitted are ride height or are they with the bags deflated?

PRRC 07-13-2006 06:58 PM

the bags are empty in the photos.

Thanks,
Jim

Very nice! I like the the top and the color too. How much do air bags typically cost for everything you would need to install it complete? Do you have a pic of the car at ride height?

Here is my 66 Chevy II without the bags. :) I just wonder if it will make much difference. This is my ride height.

Total cost for shockwaves and rear air bar with controller package runs around 4000.00 I will post some ride height pics of the car.

Nooooooooo Funky! Just say No!

Hey Funky, Hope your not considering airbags. Now, before anyone starts to say that I am vendor bashing let me say that I think Bags are fine if you are building a trailer queen or are just going to be cruising around town but for running twisties? Uuuuuuuuhhh......NO! I know you don't want to hear this but why don't you run a custom front clip and a 3 bar/watts on the rear? It will cost you the same or less than an airbag setup and you can really push it if you feel like it! Or.....do nothing and let me make some headway on my project! :P

What kind and what size are the wheels on the Nova?

Thanks Robert.

PRRC 07-19-2006 06:29 PM

Billet specialties Vintec. 17x7 front and 17x8 rear.

New wheels from Budnik are in the works right now.

Sales@Dutchboys 07-19-2006 07:25 PM

What size wheels are in the making.....

Still going with 17x7 and 17x8, but more backspacing on each. I want to lower the ride hight with no clearance problems.

Second time you posted something where you express your hatred for camaros. Do you really have to do that here?

Awesome Chevy2 BTW.
