Contacting Formula 43 wheels

Hi does anyone know if Formula 43 is still selling wheels and if so what is the best way to contact them. Thanks for the help. Cody Bray

There's been no good news that I've read about them. Why do you ask??

I was just looking for a price on a set of wheels, but no answer to anything.

I have no actual "facts" - I do have TWO sets of their wheels... but from the conversations around the forums - I'd avoid this particular supplier at this time. Seems they don't answer the phone (never a good sign)...

It's a real shame too. There was a blue 2nd Gen at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale this year wearing their split 5-spoke wheels that looked fantastic. Really a nicely detailed wheel, along with being great quality.

I emailed them maybe 1 month ago about some new inner rims. Tricia responded in 2 days and followed up with me multiple times. I haven't completed the purchase so can't comment on part delivery .

Does anybody know if Formula 43 is still in business and have contact info? I have a set of their RADS5 rims and would like to get wider hoops to accommodate a wider tire.

If not, anyone know of a company that might be able to assist if I send them my front wheels?

Not sure if it will work but here is the email I used when talking with Tricia a while back [email protected]

At the time I was also looking into widening my hoops. I talked with Forgeline about it too and think it was possible to use their hoops as well. I never confirmed the bolt patterns were 100% the same but I would say reach out to them and try.

Most three piece wheels use hoops from one of two manufacturers. I can't remember if Formula 43 made their own, but I'm guessing they use a standard (40 - If I remember correctly) bolt pattern.

I would second reaching out to Forgeline to see if they can take care of your wheels!

They're local to me. I don't think they've been in business for a while. For what it's worth I believe they use their own rim halves.

THIS ---- because I have two sets of Formula 43 wheels for my yellow track car -- and bent a rim -- and nobody could re-hoop it....

dontlifttoshift 09-10-2018 11:48 AM

Nobody could rehoop it? That sucks.

Sent it to Forgeline and they said they couldn't fix it.... that's all I know...

I emailed these guys for hoops last week with no reply yet: http://americanrim.com/

These guys also look promising: http://www.amcrimhalves.com/

If the bolt pattern for the wheel centers can be matched up, I'll just buy an inner and outer hoop for mine.

Closing the loop: I was able to order wheel hoops from Jongbloed racing wheels in California for my Formula 43 wheels. Ryan was super helpful. They spin their own hoops and could do the 30 bolt pattern to match Formula 43. You can also probably buy them from Fikse as well but I reached out to them and didn't have any luck with a call or email back. I went with 1.5" outer hoops and 9" inner hoops. Should be arriving in the next week or so.
