240Z Build
2 Attachment(s)
Figured it was about time to introduce my project. I picked up a 1972 240Z last year from a friend, he had already fitted a SBC 350 crate in it, but it needs all the handling bits done as well as a bit more power.
Working on the brake caliper / rotor upgrade now. Next will be some stiffer springs and new shocks. Still to be decided is flaring. The Z's posted here mostly have the "ZG" flares, and look FANTASTIC. I'd like to start off without, but will likely succumb to pressure and just do it :-) Goal of build is mainly for track, but definitely want to AX it as well. My 2000 Porsche Boxster is currently serving this dual duty, but with 125k miles, it won't last forever... |
That's a good looking car. I've always liked that body style, but I'm a bit big for them... Look forward to watching your progress!

Check out Z Car Garage in San Jose for a killer Brembo brake upgrade.

Really cool build! I love these cars. We've built a lot of wheels for these over the years. Here's one of my favorite ones we built our Mesh wheels for.

I love the car. I bought a '73 new and time trialed it for 3 years at Lime Rock. What a blast.

Love these cars and looking forward to watching for updates
