waynieZ 10-05-2016 07:33 PM

Nice idea on the tail lights they came out nice. That Ken is a real hotrodder.
Nice project.

Zoomin 10-06-2016 08:48 PM

You won't be pulling up alongside another, that's for sure.

Neat project.

kwhizz 10-06-2016 09:00 PM

:ups:

WSSix 10-06-2016 09:13 PM

Nice work on the tail lights. Are they nice and bright during the day too?

1badsc 10-07-2016 06:43 PM

I drove the car today and had a friend follow me and he said they were 100 times better than stock 1157 bulbs

GrannyNova 10-09-2016 02:04 AM

Great looking AMC, you could probably find a wreck car with a T56 to use for a manual swap, that's what I did I bought a wrecked Z28 and salvaged the LT1/T56, leather seats, and center consule and when it was all said and done I paid basically $1070 and that's well below what people are selling them for on ebay and Craigslist by them selves.

1badsc 10-17-2016 11:02 PM

well still no front end from control freak going on 9 weeks now was to be delivered on or before sept 23 getting a little frustrated called there twice Al said should be going out tue the 4 called again on the 10th said just gat back from power coat they are finishing up installing ball joints and what ever else they install .... nothing yet

TorqDork 10-27-2016 01:59 PM

For 1967, to me, the Rebel was by far the best looking intermediate out there. Clean lines and not too big and heavy. Good job. Just do it right.

jarhead 10-28-2016 05:30 AM

Great build!

minendrews68 10-28-2016 06:55 PM

When I was in high school, a friend had a '70 model "The Machine" based off this car. One of the coolest cars i'd ever seen.

1badsc 10-28-2016 08:20 PM

wtf they lost my front suspension how do you lose a 215 lb box on a pallet called them (UPS Freight ) yesterday they think its still in Milwaukee going on 11 weeks now just hope its all there when they find to dang thing thanks for the compliments on the car

1badsc 11-13-2016 07:16 PM

so no word from UPS other than file a claim so i started work on the rear control arms took them off had them boxed in and new bushing installed ..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...pszuafiv32.jpg..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...psf6zjtqr9.jpg...and picked up the clutch and pedal assembly little rough but its complete..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...pszdauxzqv.jpg..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...psa1sl6i2q.jpg..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...psmy5gydi9.jpg..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...psyaspdgc5.jpg..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...pslda0guzg.jpg...and picked up these LED lights for front parking light conversion..http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...pscebcbbhw.jpg

T_Raven 11-14-2016 05:22 AM

That is a sweet car. It's always cool to see a less common car getting modified.

waynieZ 11-14-2016 10:55 AM

Sorry to hear about your part being missing, it's amazing they loose things this large. I hope they find them soon. Nice job the tail lights look good.

califconstruct 11-14-2016 06:31 PM

Car looks great!

Hang in there, Whilst building your car and depending on others, you will learn to have patience.. weather you like it or not.. :hairpullout:
:popcorn2:

Centerforce 11-14-2016 07:32 PM

Wow, thats a real bummer. Either someone made a huge mistake, or was bold enough to steal a pallets worth of parts thinking no one would notice. We hope you can get it sorted with some kind of compensation at the very least.

WSSix 11-15-2016 09:44 AM

rear control arms look great!

That's nuts about the pallet. Good luck getting that fiasco sorted out.

1badsc 11-15-2016 04:16 PM

well Al at control freak has started building it all over again .we both sent in claims so UPS its time to pay up hope to hear for UPS in a couple weeks and i'm not holding my breath either

gofastwclass 11-18-2016 06:24 AM

I love different cars and you look like you have a cool one. I doubt you go to a car show and park next to a guy with the same model very often.

The pedals turned out really well, bet those were difficult to find. Judging by the before and after, you just made a diamond from coal. Nice save.

In one of your last images you have a tub of Lith-Ease grease in the background. I have the same tub and I think I bought it from Western Auto. I've never seen another one in someone's shop until now. Hahaha

MoparCar 11-18-2016 06:11 PM

I love this project! Nice to see something different. Thanks for posting!
