When I started building this car the goal was to build a car that I could Autocross, Track and still be able to participate on the Power Tour. Since
I completed parts of three Power Tours with the car upgrading each year to try to make it just a little better then the last. Each part was chosen
with the intent to make this car handle significantly better then stock and stop from very high speeds without concern. When my nephew and I
participated in the 2015 Power Tour with all of the mods you see in the list below (minus the Stainless Works Headers, High Flow Cats and Exhaust
we got 21 mpg which exceed my expectations.

If you want a car that you can get in a drive cross country and still have fun this is the car. It has more than enough HP to get you in trouble quickly
as it has 568hp at the wheels with a mild tune and the small crank pulley so it has plenty more in it. The current set up is mild enough to cruise on
the highway or your local streets.

Unfortunately the time has come to sell my baby as I have way to much going on in my life and my wife said it was okay to buy another car (so I did)
and I a afraid I won't have the time to enjoy this car. So I would love it to go to a good home and get enjoyed by the new owner.

Yep, I bought a Cayman R ( Greg's Fault ) so my daughter can start doing autocross and track days with me.

and yes this is way to much car for her but I couldn't pass up the deal. So really it's for me and the best part it has provisions for a roof rack so I can use it to haul my Mountain Bike in the summer.

You guys are making my $10,000 offer look bad.

This car is the real deal (for a camaro), we took this on a couple power tours and is comfortable after being in it for hours but strong enough fry the tires rolling at 40 in second gear.

I think it would look cool - you can even give it the "R" look to make it even better.

Any details on the Cayman? I've been looking for one comfort a daily driver.. I've seen some low miliage 08's / 9's in the low 30's. I love that color!

So far I have driven it a couple hundred miles and only have a couple days left before it gets parked in my warehouse for the winter on Friday. What I can say is that I absolutely love the car and wish I would have bought one sooner. After driving it for the week I am happy I bought the "R" and not the GT4 as I a certain that I would have never driven the GT4. Ground clearance upfront is ample and I don't have to worry about driveways that much.

I am looking forward to next spring as I plan to put a bike rack on the roof and make it my daily driver next spring. So far the only mods I am considering at this point if the front splitter filler, body color side vents and satin wrap on the hood and the roof. Other then that drive the **** out of it.

Heck Mike & I are considering doing the Power Tour in it.


As for the Bee it's still 4-Sale and it's looking for a good home. What I can say is the Bee's ride and handling & ride characteristics is very similar to the Porsche. The big difference is the Bee has significantly more HP and even has that funny 3rd pedal.
