1969 Twin Turbo Camaro project for sale

Item Location (City/State): Campbell, CA
Price: PROJECT IS SOLD
Description:

I recently picked up another car, a '32 Roadster, and along with other life changes I need to let go of my Camaro project. The project was to build a high end SEMA show car, but still maintain street drivability. Many of you already know what goes into a professionally built car at this level - $400K and much higher. Cutting to the chase, I have 100% of the receipts totaling $210K, and looking to sell for $xxxK. No corners were cut, everything done was top of the line. It started with an almost rust free body, with the only rust repair on the bottom rear quarters - that's all.

There are TONS of details on a web page I put together here:

www.TwinTurbo69.com

A couple of quick main features and a few pictures below, but if you are interested, please see the details on the web page above.
  • 427 LS twin turbo built for about 1100HP - all internals and parts documented on the website above.
  • Bowler 4l80e trans with Twist Machine paddle shifters
  • DSE Hydroformed front subframe
  • DSE QuadraLink rear suspension
  • DSE subframe connectors
  • 12 bolt axle with Wavetrac
  • Baer brakes
  • General body work started, panel alignment and finishing work to be done - everything in the pictures is all metal
  • Aston Martin flush door handles installed and working
  • 1969 Firebird rear bumper tucked in
  • DSE mini tubs
  • Marquez Design complete interior with modified dash
  • Vintage air
  • Infinity Box electrical system

Looking to sell everything for $xxxK, or would entertain selling the engine and/or transmission separately. I would be glad to answer any questions, or put you directly in touch with the project lead in charge of the build from the beginning at Campbell Auto Restoration and High Performance. The car is located in Campbell, CA.

Willing to consider a trade or partial trade, but it would have to be a pretty high end build.

Quick update, this project car is still for sale. Here are two renderings from Kris Horton of the car as designed.

Thanks!

Man, oh, man...this car is so sweet. Well worth the price. That rendering is so sick. I'll admit, I may have to steal that rear bumper trick though.

Thanks! Yeah, Kris did an insane job of incorporating my center exhaust, with interesting shape tips, and made it not looks like it's hanging under the car, but instead built in and part of the whole look. The lines on the body panel under the bumper are cool, I think. By the way, it's a '69 Firebird rear bumper - actually two of them grafted together.

Update on the location of the car for those looking. I just recently moved, so the car is now in Simi Valley, just north of Los Angeles. Which also means my QuadraDeuce is in the area, so hope to see a bunch of you at the socal shows this year.

New lowered price

NEW price! Well, I need to move this project to a new owner as we just moved and need to deal with landscaping, pool, furniture, etc. I have 100% of the receipts for $210,000 in parts and work. It was listed at $xxx and I have now lowered it to $xxx. This is an OUTSTANDING deal for everything included. It's still at a point where you can make it your own, pick your own body mods, interior mods and materials, paint color, wheels, etc. Or follow the original design concept as pictured above and on the website.

For all of the extreme detail and tons of pictures, please see the website for the car here:

http://www.TwinTurbo69.com

The car is located in Simi Valley, CA and I will deliver it within 100 miles to the new owner at no cost. Any questions PM me and I will get back to you. Thanks!

I'm giving this one last chance - looking for a reasonable offer - and if it does not sell in the next few weeks, I will part it out. It would be a shame as the whole thing was a $210,000 investment, and can be had for xxx right now. If I part it out, it will be a hassle for me, but in reality I will probably get more for all the parts separately.

Make sure to see the extremely detailed web page listing all parts, and tons of pictures. The car is located in southern CA, currently in Simi Valley, but will be moving to my home in Moorpark, CA shortly.
