MelloX - 1971 Chevrolet C10
4 Attachment(s)
Hey Everyone,
Here are some pics of MelloX, the 1971 Chevrolet C10 I'm building to tear up the AutoX course :) Thanks to Ben for the sick rendering! Base of it all is a Xtreme Speedtech Chassis, awesome quality with their products and great tech support from Roger and Blake! Stopping power provided by 6p Baer Brakes and 14" rotors. It will be riding on Forgeline Dropkick wheels wrapped in BFG Rival S tires. Oh and I had to get the Ron Sutton Ridetech single adjustable shocks! Engine is a CT525 LS3 backed by a T56 transmission and 9" rear with a Strange case. I am currently in process of converting the fuel system to FiTech's Ultimate LS System. Some more engine details, it has a Speedtech ATS oil pan, Improved Racing Remote Oil Filter Housing/thermostat, PRC Oil Cooler, PRC Radiator, Ultimate stainless headers, Rick's Fuel Tank, Aeromotive filter/regulator, Earl's fuel line and fittings and I just ordered my Drive Junky pulley system! Goal is to have this baby ready to drive by next summer, do some tuning and dial it in and then finish off paint and details next Fall. Matt |
Badazz start. More pics would be nice.

Love the color scheme. Welcome to the site. Good luck with the build!

Lookin' great so far Matt!! In the truck world I dig the "restored" look of C10s with a low stance and larger factory style rims, but I'm really diggin' that lowered restored look with the Pro Touring wheels, this was one of my favorite renderings to date. Looking forward to following along with the build!

Love it! Clean, original and badazz! Super cool in my book. This will be a fun one to watch.
