I need your help
Right now we are building Project F-bomb we are going for a world war 2 theme with nose art etc..hardcore look. The car is a 1973 camaro were building Here at Nelson Supercars If any one has some artistic abilty and would like to photo shop some paint shemes and nose art I was thinking a pin up girl with her legs wrapped around a bomb or just a bomb with a fuse or davids idea was like dog tags for all the cars you've wiped out. something along these lines the car will be painted a satin suede green . I would appreciate it.Also I'm looking for some aircraft style dual sweep car guages i no I've seen some around I just can't remember the name of the company that sold these.I'll post a pic in progress Thanks in advance Tom

Pic right now
There is a big hand made rear wing also

no artistic talent here....
but since you are building a chevy you may want to put Ford "blue Oval" emblems on the driver's door for the number of Fords you have taken out, or chrysler emblems. WW II planes use to do that, but it was not dog tags. I think Vargas girls were the most famous pin ups in that era. May want to try and google that.

Clill:
Thanks for posting those. Wow, what a ride! tyoneal |
thats the 1st time i ever noticed the euro/oz spec tail lights, those are kewl with the amber signal part....i hope you never need a replacement.
now taking an idea from the pic of the plane, notice the "sinking ships" how about some cars stenciled on, but with them laying on their back...wheels in the air...dead... get it? then of coarse if the car loses a race...you can put a stencil of a car on its wheels, cuz if your gonna keep track of wins, ya gotta keep track of losses too. |
Charley thanks for sharing those, there is some really nice workmanship on that car.
|
Dammit Charlie, you have all the cool toys!
I'm taking my Hot Wheels and going home... |

It's because of things like this that I wish I still lived back home in NorCal so I could go show up on Charley's doorstep like a stalker just to check out his cars. LOL. That thing is sweet! |

Hey, I planned on doing a nose art deal for Penny.. lots of bombers ran "bad penny" nose pics..
Now David will think I copied him.. guess I had better get done first :) http://www.40thbombgroup.org/images/new5.jpg As for your topic. I would go with a font of "f-bomb" and some sort of graphic of a bomb falling with an excelent sense the bomb is hauling but. Or have the bomb sorta morphing into a car (f-body).. Here's a bunch of nose-art pics from WWII.. http://www.b24.net/nose/index.html |

One of the best names I've seen,no art though  |
Clill have you driven that bomber ? If so how it feels and sound ?
|
It is like taxi-ing a plane.... look for it at SEMA
|
Or you could do something like this helicopter. Look closely at the camouflage.
