5pm update today shows Hurricane Irma going right over the house (garage) this weekend... FML.

One minute they say "oh we're safe it's only gonna be a 1 or 2!"

... next update is "oh Sh!t! It's still a 4!" because it will gain energy from the 90* water in the gulf.

Isn't there an LS fest or SEMA show in our future or something to distract me from this damn storm?

Just wind and rain here so far too... looks like the "red bands" will be here around 8pm now.

Ty I just got off the phone with my brother in Palm Bay he, his wife, my 2 sister in laws 2 nephews and a couple of other people stayed at my sister in laws she has a generator they are all set for food water all good. The power went out the started the gen burnt 2 TVs one computer and who knows what else. It was wired up and used before then last week she had an electrician check it, he changed something and this happened. My brothers wife needs oxygen (she has an o2 generator) thank god she had a small gen big enough for that and a light.
I hope your night is going much better, I guess your worst is yet to come.
