HRE or Forgeline distributor

I am back onto my build and at the point I need to decide on my wheels. I am going with HRE or possibly Forgeline. The decision is killing me. They both make great looking wheels. I am looking for the best advice on distributors that put "friendly" service on top. Thanks for any input.

I have had both HRE and Forgeline, and while my salesman was very nice to deal with at HRE (and still talk to him), the experience and support from Forgeline following up is much better. I got both sets of wheels through a member on here.

I will be going Forgeline all the way with all my future wheel purchases (of that caliber).

I have bought several sets of HRE's and no complaints. I love what Forgeline is doing and have called them on a few occasions and their customer service is phenomenal too. You can't go wrong on either brand as far as quality. Although, I think my next set of wheels will be the Forgeline Center Lock conversion.

Both sets are a work of art. Where are you located? I bought mine from mats classic bowties

Bob, get in touch with Vince at Meanstreets Performance. He can get you squared away on your wheels.

Talk to Gerry Corbo with customwheelsforless.com

He deals with both companies and got my Forgelines from him. I sure you know this already, but there is a big price difference between Forgeline and HRE.

Hey guys I appreciate all the input. I am currently looking at the HRE Series S101 and the Forgeline SO3S concave. Not going polished wheels. I am getting old and lazy. My concern is how will 19" wheels look on a pro touring 1970 Camaro. Both these wheels are 19" up.
garickman I am currently going back and forth with Vince on your engine set up on the DSE frame now.
randy I am located in Atlanta GA.

Wait until Black Friday. You can usually get great pricing on wheels. Got a great deal and service on Forgelines from Schwartz Performance a couple of years back.

Yea I should be clear that it wasn't a huge issue, but just had minor quality issues with my HRE (chrome hoops started flaking) and it was more of a pain with customer service and them being on my daily driver as far as getting them fixed (had to take off and send back to be assessed before any agreement).

Dealer for both those brands as well as many others posts on here as Nine Ball. Good friend of mine and couldn't ask for better service from a wheel dealer.

I am really digging the wheels on Mark stielow's car "Gunner". I am wanting the wheels black with some sort of accent. I have decided to go black on the car after a year of back and forth on colors. I am going to need to pull blue in somewhere or change the engine color. I bought this engine from garickman a few years back.

Sweet engine and love the Harrop intake. Don't see too many of those around.
