64 Boosted Falcon
 

Feels good to finally be able to post a project update. Spent the last number of months gathering parts and planning my build.
Over the holiday break the stock front pick up points and mounts were cut off the TCI IFS crossmember installed.
The engine setting where it needs to be. need to do some more cutting on the tunnel to fit the TKO 600.

I have a hard time wanting to pay a site to host my photo's. I understand the owners of the site have the right to monetize it but I just can't bring myself to do it.

I saw your pictures on the Ecoboost swap thread. I am very excited to see where it goes. I have two main questions. First, do you plan on keeping the stock turbos or go with something else? Second, if you are using the stock turbos, how well do they fit between the frame rails?

I am leaving the engine and turbos stock with a mild tune. I am thinking 390-400hp and 450ftlb + should run pretty good.
The turbos have plenty of room between the frame rails, the left side turbo exhaust is tight to the firewall which will be modified.

Thanks for the tutorial I will give try when I get home from skiing.

That is good to hear. I am planning on that swap into a 67 Cougar. I have looked at the frame rail measurements, and the measurements of the engine, and it seems like it might be a little tight. I am glad to hear to the contrary, and I really look forward to your build.

Ford Performance has the engine diementions with the turbos listed with the 3.5 EcoBoost create engine.

Process has been slow but study due to my work schedule but things are starting to slow down so I will be out of excuses. I did get tired of crawling under the car so went out and finally bought a rotisserie, should have done it when I started the project.
