I want to know what you're doing on SVT Performance?!!!!! :D At least I have an excuse (Lightning)!

By the way, my first car was a 65 Mustang and I really am considering doing a 69/70 next.

Was that car built by the guys who make the modern Eleanor? I know the post said, "a local mustang shop", but alot of the suspension, and other components look alot like what they showed on the Rides episode of what goes into the new Eleanors.

Either way its awesome.

I don't know about that. The Eleanor shop they featured in rides is here in Dallas, and that show was in Ohio or something. But that sure is a nice car! What did Ford call their orange? Was it "Grabber" or something like that?

UUUGGGHHH !! Anouther Eleanor.....This will be a killer car when done SN65 Eleanors are a fad that will pass......I hope! Ford never had a color like that back then ,Grabber orange was way different. All the other cars look GREAT :thumbsup:

But it was called "Grabber" orange, right? I know it looks different, it was just an aside about Orange on Fords. Wasn't there also a "Shaker" color (as well as hood)?

So there would have been "Grabber" "Hugger" and "Shaker"? Sounds like a bad Lifetime movie, or afterschool special. :D

It's a small world isn't it. Every time I turn around, there is another reference to our project. Someone refered me to this thread/site and I just could not resist checking it out.

I could not help but notice that the home page does not have any Mustangs featured. Maybe they will post a photo of SN65 when shes done. We are getting close to completion, just about another 4 weeks or so. I really want to have the car finished for the July Good Guys show, but we will see how things go.

Welcome! I was given a link to your project earlier this week. It's fantastic, I love it.

You're absolutely right about there not being a Mustang on the homepage. We'll have to rememdy that with your project. :thumbsup:

I leave first thing in the morning for the Power Tour and won't be back until the 12th. When I get back, we'll have to talk about putting something together for you. :)
