rehab of my 69 project HillbillyDeluxe Build by Ironworks
1 Attachment(s)
Guys,
Just wanted to share some of my build (rebuild maybe better word). After moving my car from the east coast to the west coast I found myself looking for a place to give my old 69 a little updating. A good friend of mine had had a few amazing cars built by Rodger Lee and his crew at Ironworks, so we came together and came up with a plan to give my car what it needed to bring it to the front. I should have posted more pics as the project progressed, but Rodger has done so much in 3-4 months time got away from me. Can't say enough good things about Ironworks. This has been a very positive/exciting experience as they work on the cars and keep you 100 percent involved. The plan was to

All that there is the seat to legally carry a T rex in the back seat of the car. HAHA |
Roger is the car still at your shop? Do you have any pictures of how you got the heat exchanger on the passenger side to fit with the RS doors? Did you run tubing down to the bottom of the Radiator support and go under? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks it’s got a lot of good parts on it and the craftsmanship shows. Doesn’t have any fancy body mods but GM did a good job as is in my opinion. Rodger has done a great job making it ready to pound on and not have any worries about drivability which was a big concern. I like to enjoy my cars not just look at them. |

Not yet hopefully it will be running this week! |
That will be very cool. I can only imagine how excited you must be for an early holiday present.
You will need to make sure to let some smoke out of the tires from time to time, it helps the blues go away and puts a smile on your face. ...at least it works that way for me. :D |

Congrats on a beautiful car! Love that you kept the body true to form and you can never go wrong with a black car with a straight body! Keep the updates coming. I love the Ironworks jack stands, btw...may they would throw those in as a "Christmas/Customer Appreciation" gift, hint, hint!!:poke:
