Eddie motorspots vs Ring Brothers

Abour to drop some coin on Black Friday from a fit finish or quality point of view ... which is better for hood hinges and Billett ?

Rings but Eddie sells alot of stuff rings do not.

Eddie Motorsport stuff is ok but some of their hinges don’t open as far. Ringbrothers is hands down top of the line

RB for hood hinges

Thanks everyone happy Thanksgiving

I've had both on my 2nd gen. The Eddie Motorsports rubbed on the top portion of the cowling, could of modified it, but just decided to switch to Ring. There both good, but yeh, the Eddie catalog is much larger, and most of this aluminum stuff can be easily modded to fit (as you know)

Watch Eddie's shipping.....

Don't have either, but will be going Ring on the hood hinges. Other non-essential parts that are just parts that sit in place like fender braces, etc I may go Eddie.

Probably too late now, but I run EMS on my Chevelle and Nova. Chevelle has been on Power Tour and everything with zero issues.

I've got the EMS hinges as well. After this weekend I'll be able to give you update on how well I like them on the car. I can say that the upon close inspection, they appear to be very well made, are smooth as butter and have zero slop.

I ended up buying the ring brothers hinges, door handles and door kit, interior handles , rear window cranks and clutch resiviour
And the EMS tail lights and fender braces

Sounds like a good combo...I don't think you could go wrong either way on the hood hinges. I'd be curious to hear what you think of the RB outer door handles, I've been looking at those myself! Good luck and keep the updates coming:cheers:

For anyone that might want some follow up info on the EMS hood hinges...got mine installed on my 68 Camaro and I love them. Zero fitment issues. Very smooth and NO side to side hood movement whatsoever. I'm running a steel 2"cowl hood and the struts are quite strong. No issues with how far the hood opens either. So far, I'm extremely pleased!

I have a set of Ring Brother's hood hinges for a 1st gen Camaro that I never used. If anyone is interested, PM me.

After a close look on both while displayed at Sema, went with all from ring bros (68 camaro)
