Welcome to Lat-G!
So what are your plans on what appears to be a great build?
LS platform?
Big block?
Manual or automatic?
Please send more pics and again, welcome.

Roscoe03 05-21-2019 04:45 PM

Can't beat a nice 66-67 Nova, welcome! Post up more info on your build.

indasixes 05-22-2019 06:36 AM

Trying to keep on a budget?? It has all Heidts front and rear, mini tubbed, etc. Will prob do a automatic LS deal so wife can drive once in awhile as well. SHe helps out alot on the 67 camaro drag radial car and this is for us to cruise around in. I "want" to keep around 500hp and enjoy!!

NEED INPUT on what wheels to put on it.. I want to paint or powdercoat all the chrome trim in a titanium color or something like it.. The tires are 305/35/18's in the rear... Would love ideas on wheels-- huge expense and what as many ideas as possible.. thanks

Welcome to lat-g.

A lot of expertise here as you know.

Good looking Nova...its cool that your wife is part of your hobby.

Roscoe03 05-30-2019 03:29 PM

Those wheels look awesome.

Spiffav8 05-30-2019 08:00 PM

That's going to be a lot of fun!!

dcracing 05-31-2019 08:02 AM

Looks great! Wish my chevy ii was this far along.

ur-n-8 05-31-2019 04:19 PM

Going to have to shorten the wheel base?

indasixes 06-01-2019 09:09 AM

YES--- great eye--- The 4 bar system in back allowed me to move everything forward about 3/4 inch and still working on getting perfect.... then on to the front

indasixes 04-16-2020 10:45 AM

Love it! Just saw this for the first time and was reading page 1...something, something...”keep it simple.” Something, something...”cruiser for the wife”, then I turn the page and there’s a Whipple sitting on the LS!:drive:
I like this build even better now!

Better view of it.. Really struggling on which direction from here... ALL BLACK with Bronze(ish) wheels... or classic with chrome and red interior

We keep talking about it as we are wiring up the car in the evenings... Really like the "modern" look but afraid that we dont really pull it off right color wise

ScotI 04-17-2020 09:01 AM

Classic looks are just that... classic. They never go out of style. Old school appearance w/new school technology is a nice combo & easy enough to enjoy.

214Chevy 04-17-2020 10:36 AM

I personally like the "bronze-ish" option. If you ever get tired of the look and want to change from that, it wouldn't be a costly thing. I just think with the Whipple and all, the car needs some pop to it...you know, some flare to carry out the theme when you pop the hood.

indasixes 04-23-2020 02:39 PM

AGREED!!! I like either a "bronzeish" or dark grey accent where the chrome and stainless would have been because i can always change it back!! Dont need much HP... JUst maybe 700ish

indasixes 07-26-2021 12:21 PM

Need more advise..

Not input on carpet, but I can vouch for Relicate Leathers. That's what I have and I'm more than satisfied with the quality.

Check in w/Phil Cato (@catoscustomupholstery on IG). He's been doing some nice stuff w/materials that have some very rich hues/tone.

WSSix 07-27-2021 06:21 PM

Cato is just down the road from me in Tucker, GA. Yes, he does great work.

Putting interior in before I was ready but interior guy had opening and it was a time slot of take or leave it..... SO..... here is preview

syborg tt 10-07-2021 05:07 PM

Wow I have no clue how I missed this thread.

What an awesome car and can't wait to see the interior finished.

Pro Touring Store 10-07-2021 06:43 PM

Looking good! Custom console, looks like.. What about the seats?

indasixes 10-09-2021 09:14 AM

thanks

Thanks everyone Seats are red as well and carpet same as trunk area THE DASH IS WRAP IN ALL LEATHER... different but thought it made it really sharp.... Been a long time putting this project together. Time money, family--all the typical delays everyone here knows about... Next big decision is to go chrome or some other modern looking dark titanium or something for all the trim. Tough calls on some of the details

214Chevy 10-09-2021 10:12 AM

Very nice!!

indasixes 11-05-2021 07:57 AM

Wife and I change our minds back and forth---- Either to do chrome or not!!

such a hard call!!

thanks to everyone following

Roscoe03 11-05-2021 05:29 PM

That red interior is gorgeous!

WSSix 11-06-2021 09:16 AM

Love a rich red interior against a black exterior. A very classic and fantastic choice. What brand and model seats are those? Glad to see it coming together.

Stock 67 camaro seats... bought tmi foam and then the interior guy took it from there and custom did everything.

WSSix 11-07-2021 07:09 PM

He did a great job with them. Thanks!

SLOW GOING

Got stalled on project for a year putting racecar back together and running our business... I was scared after seeing all the reviews of fessler glass but this is after i bought it and it sat in my garage for over a year waiting. WELL---- I finally had someone put them in.... NOT BAD.....NOT perfect but makes it look so much better than stock
