I wish i had the time to do a build thread that would do this car justice. BUT about a year ago, My buddy had a great idea of combining these two cars. The build is going on near me so I get to check on it weekly and oversee the project. It is coming along and again wish i had time to share ALL the pics we have taken along the way. Hope you all enjoy something that is a little different.

Yeah, we need to see more. You can't just tease us and say you "wish" you could share more pics. We've got nothing but time. :popcorn2::popcorn2:

who can help with some cadillac expertise??? I need to get offset of wheels on front "inset" more to lower front end to get right ride height. Can I put a different caliper and spindle on front to move tire inboard more?? wiling to go with smaller tire package and give up 6- piston CTSV caliper to make it right.

thanks

Wow your kicking Butt! I love the interior.

indasixes 03-16-2020 07:25 PM

Excited to put on scales.. Want to find out how much it will weigh vs the stock 2010 cts-v...... Hoping its a lot lighter... Car should be fairly quick too.

indasixes 03-16-2020 07:25 PM

Any suggestion on wheels or paint color???

Front view.... Almost all fab is done...

WSSix 04-03-2020 07:59 PM

Cool! Congrats on the progress.

I have no suggestion on wheels. For colors, I love bright blues. I'm also a huge fan of burnt orange. BMW has some great oranges and reds with orange hues that look fantastic to me. They have some good blues as does Lexus and Acura. For trim colors, I really like the use of darker silvers and greys. To me, that helps set the trim apart without making it too bright.

waynieZ 04-04-2020 12:12 PM

Wow it looks nasty! Nice work.

BMW has some Great Blue/Greens & Blue/Purples that are like those flip-flop jobs but with Quality Color & Materials

It would look best with white or off white seats and white walls

This thing looks great, Nice job.

indasixes 05-18-2022 12:36 PM

It is alive and drivable. Everything including backup camera and all Cadillac normal functions are working properly. Now it goes in paint booth in the next week or so.... The supercharged engine is really alot of fun with how light the chassis is compared to how how heavy the cadillac started out.

Question... Need some really cool wheels and looking for EXPERT assistance on how to get some wheels made to give it the look we are looking for. Anybody have a go to guy somewhere like billet specialties?

WSSix 05-20-2022 07:29 PM

Congrats! Can't wait to see it in color. Be sure to share some pics if you can.

I can't help with the wheels other than to say check with the sponsors on the side. There's some top notch wheel companies on that list.
