Mini tubs, Expected cost to have done?

What would y'all expect the cost would be to have a shop do the DSE mini tubs for me? I was going to do them myself over the winter but I just moved from Ohio to South Bend and don't have the shop/garage to work out of anymore and really want them done before spring. Any estimates or real world experience from those who paid to have it done?
Also, if anyone has any recommendations of a good shop around the South Bend area, thanks

About a week or 40 hours I have been quoted more than once in the past.

40 hours is going hours to do it most places.
I've heard of people getting charged $700 labor all the way up to $5000. It depends on the shops hourly rate. I charged $1600 when I use to do them and had a guy tell me I was to expensive??

It all depends

$2K for labor has been the common quote in the Denver area

40 hours if the car is already stripped, and does not include any recoating of the trunk or wheel wells.

If you don't have any place to work on it, I would guess you'd be driving it to a shop with gas tank and interior, if you expect to drive it out in the same condition, it's going to be costly.

I spent a couple of weekends doing mine, but that didn't include all the details like interior, fuel tank & lines, paint, suspension, clean up....

I paid $2200 to have mine done. '68 Nova

I can strip it down, and I have a trailer to haul it, just no place to set up a welder and do the tub work

I just recently did my own, and will say, 1600 is NOT expensive. I would pay that in a heartbeat knowing what I know now. lol

its a 40 hour X labor rate job with the tubs ready to cut out, nothing else.

I've done a few of the DSE tubs in early Mustangs. By the time it's all said and done, 40 hours is about right. You're talking narrowing frame rails and everything so it's not an inconsequential amount of work.
