Craig Morrison passed away
Surprised it hasn't been mentioned here yet, but Craig Morrison past away early Monday due to Covid complications. I only met him a few times and spoke with him on the phone many more, but he always seemed to be the happiest guy around. RIP.

Craig Passed Sunday at 3:30pm after several weeks in the hospital. Craig was a very outgoing, yet private person. Out of respect for him and his family I kept it quiet. I felt it was best to allow his wife and Art release the news at a time best for them.
I have been in contact with Art and Clarey through it all. They where very positive and we all expected Craig to make a full recovery. After all he's the type to hike twelve miles in the mountains, then cook everyone dinner and have a cocktail. Craig looked to be improving and his O2 levels where up until he came down with Phenomena. After nearly a month long battle with COVID he just wasn't strong enough to fight both. Clarey was able to be at his side during his final hour and delivered messages from loved ones. Craig was the best kind of person and lived an amazing life. He had the best sense of humor, devoted to his family and truly loved cool cars of all types. I am thankful to have had him as a best friend. I can't not express much I will miss him. https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-...-6TmpfjD-L.jpg https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-...-dgf3nhV-M.jpg https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-...-77SzTxM-M.jpg |
I fully expect ALL of you to keep your political comments out of this thread. It's not the place.

So sorry to hear about his passing. The photo of him and his son is a heart breaker. I'll certainly pray for the family.
It's another reminder to LIVE our lives. There is no guarantee for tomorrow. |

The Morrisons have had a lot going on since Craig passed. I have had a few updates and thought I would pass it along. I'm not very good at this kind of thing and ask for a little understanding.
I spoke with Scott at AME a few days ago. Sounds like they are all doing their best to keep everything "business as usual". They're busy and the daily routine seems to be good for everyone. The senior staff is really hurting. Many of them watched Craig go from a young man, to becoming a husband and father. AME is very much so a family type company. Craigs wife called yesterday. It was great to hear her voice and to hear her laugh a little. She sounds fragile, but tough and I'd says she's doing as well as anyone could. It sounds like they where smartly prepared and things are falling into place, though making arrangements for everything wears her down quickly. With WA still having COVID restrictions, having family in England and Craig having friends around the globe, it's been a bit of a challenge. After some consideration it was decided to hold the funeral on July 8th for all that able to attend and once restrictions are lifted and travel isn't an issue for the international folks, throw a huge celebration of life event at the LeMay Automotive Museum for everyone to attend. Here's a link to Craigs Obituary. Please feel free to leave a positive comment. The family gets updates and I know hearing from all of us helps them. You will also find information the funeral service there. You are welcome to attend, if able or leave positive comment at the link below. However you choose to show your support will be helpful. https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries...?pid=199196810 https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-...-QfJK84b-M.jpg :captain: |
