USB ports

Guys, can anyone recommend a good USB port to install in my Camaro. I've seen a variety of choices on Amazon...some with good reviews and some not so good. I know at one point Ironworks was selling them, but don't see them on their website anymore. Does anyone have any recommendations or any real world experience with some?

One thing to think about is the USB 3.0 which most items these days require the higher output for fast charging. Here is an example of one with USB 3.0 that has a built in power switch. This model if wired thru a switched 12 volt source would need to be turned back on after every power cycle. There are other models that do not have the switch.

I have thought about doing this as well and thought about going to the local Pick-n-pull to find something GM & cut enough length of harness from it to splice in where I need it.

Edit. I have also purchased this from amazon for our boat. The radio is a pain to get to, so I mounted this where it has easy access so I can play/charge my phone through it.

I used this one on a mustang project. I mounted it in the cigarette lighter hole.

Hey Andrew, the terminals you posted have a minimum 15000 order. Are there other sources to get just a few?

When I ordered them, Moser offered them as cut strips. Might be worth giving them a call.

For my 91 Firebird I wanted the USB and power outlet tucked away out of sight, two socket unit from Amazon, I fabbed a bracket that matched the shape of the supplied backing plate, I'm utilizing the stud for the pass. front seat, with the seat in place it's barley notiable but still accessible.
