My new 8 second luxury sedan
 

I can't properly explain how stupid fun this car is. 2024 Lucid Sapphire. As of now there are only 6 in public hands and I'm one of the lucky 6. We were invited to take delivery at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma Ca. They let us trash theirs on the road course and drag strip while ours sat all pretty in the new turn 11 building at the track. They had "The Stieg" Ben Collins there driving and giving rides on the track. What a day and what a car. Never in my life did I think there would be a luxury 4 door sedan that could run a 8 second 1/4 mile with the ac on.

One of the funniest moments was in the afternoon when we drove our cars around the Napa valley. We stopped at a roadside cheese store and Ben Collins bought a soft drink. We are out by our cars and Ben finally reads on the bottle that his drink has CBD in it only after finishing the bottle. A look of panic that he just overdosed on drugs.We are laughing at him and explain that it isn't THC and that there is a difference but only after telling him "Welcome to California."

Fit and finish is great. New seats with side bolsters plat you better than the other Lucids.

Congratulations on an amazing car. Lucid is definitely at the top of the EV game. I bought stock in the company so i'm hoping for great things.

Awesome car. What made you pick the Lucid over the TeslaS Plaid?

He had a Lucid Air before this one. He told me the fit/finish, interior, etc. of the Lucid was more on the scale of BMW vs the Tesla. I would take either lol.

Fit and finish between the Lucid and Tesla is no comparison and the Lucid has alot more range to a charge. Plus I think it looks better.

Very cool car. Enjoy it. I thought my standard Tesla is fast I can't imagine how fast a 1K HP/TQ 8sec daily can be.

My dream car. Congrats Charley. I remember when your SL65 with tuning was fast. :drive:
