II MUCH taking II LONG!
Hey guys,
Just curious how many other people are waiting for their orders from II MUCH? I ordered 2 VSRs over a year ago and haven’t received them. I’ve sent multiple emails with no response. I’ve been on the website and “tracked my order” and started an online “chat” with no response. If you have received your order, how long did it take and what order # were/are you? My order # is 3298 Sorry if this is in the wrong section… -Drew |
It took 5 months or so to get the one VSR I ordered (delivered Feb 2024), but I found email to their Support address got responses quickly. Your order # is older than mine so I would think you’d have them by now. Did you also order the fancy dual can holder bracket thing?

I sent John an email, I'll let you know what he says.

Not sure if this is the response you're looking for, but I ordered two of the older versions some time ago and it took a while. Yes, John is slow to respond to emails/voice mails. Not sure why either. But, he does eventually get back to you and is a good guy. I wouldn't worry about being ripped off for sure. I know that has nothing to do with you wanting you parts that you paid for. Just trying to soften the situation. The parts are very nice when you do receive them.

I'm in the same boat. Ordered March 20th, 2023 Order# 3288. Still no delivery. Sporadic email responses, never answered calls.
At this point I just assume the order will never be delivered. Glad I'm not the only one. |
this ongoing situation is exactly why I'm considering making my own instead of buying the IIMuch stuff, even though it's very nice.

Update:
After playing phone tag with John, I finally got ahold of him and my order SHOULD be shipped this week or next week (so I’ve been told). I did add the Ricks tank kit to my order, so hopefully that won’t create more delays. I will update once my order has been received. Side note: my emails weren’t being responded to, so best bet is to call the number on the website and leave a message. He did get back to me within a couple days. -Drew |
whats in the ricks tank kit?

Update for anyone who is curious:
After talking to John on the phone he said he was going to get my order out by the end of that week or the following week. He created a label and sent me a tracking number the same day (June 18th)… still no parts and when I check tracking it still says “Pre-shipment, shipping label created”… as I stated above, I did add the “ricks tank dual bulkhead”, so maybe that’s why it’s taking longer than expected… I’m not trying to bad mouth the company by any means, but I have a feeling I’m not the only one waiting for their parts and wanted to share my experience so far. |
Just a 69 when did u place the initial order

I sent him an email, I'll post info here.

John called me today and we got things sorted out. Sounds like things are hectic but coming around in the order fulfilment.
|
I’m STILL waiting on my order, even after to speaking with him on the phone months ago… It sounded like he was going to get my order out within a couple weeks of the call, but nothing… I don’t mind things taking a little longer than expected, but this is excessive IMO.
|
I hate to read this as the product looked great and many were using it. If I had chance at a PayPal claim I wouldn’t let that lapse on the promise of a resolution that hasn’t been followed through for others.
|
He's not responding to me either. I've removed his banners for now and paused his advertising until I can get this straightened out.

I talked to John on the phone today. He said he made revised fixtures for milling these and production time has significantly improved.
I'm in the same boat as everyone else (months behind when told "a few weeks" for lead time) and my fabricator needs them pretty urgently, so hoping I can get them soon. Today's update was "another week or two." So... fingers crossed. |

I live within 1 hour of him and he wont even sell me a kit where I can pick it up in person aka maybe a cash deal ..no shipping no 3rd party . I'm still leary . There has been WAY too many people with problems with 2 much to have any faith in what he's saying

If anyone has received an order lately, I’d be curious what your order number was/is… I’m #3298… am I getting skipped over and others receiving their orders?? |
Same result here. Have not been able to get in contact in a long time and too many promises of the situation being fixed and product coming soon.
I can't imagine how many thousands of dollars this guy has stolen from members on this site alone. |
Classic cash flow symptoms imo. I’m guessing that recall buried him in a huge hole and he can’t dig his way out.

Anybody receive anything yet?
I haven't yet... called to check in today but had to leave a voicemail. |
I got a call on 3/6/25 and he said my order is ready to ship. I recently sold my car so I no longer need the vents, so I told him I’ll just take a refund. He then told me it will take a couple weeks to receive my refund, so I told him” fine, just send me the vents and I will resell them to recoup my money.” I want the fastest solution, whether it be refund or fulfill my order because I don’t trust anything he says anymore. He then said he would rather refund me the money than send the order. He said I will get my money back in a couple weeks because a bunch of people want refunds. I haven’t received the refund yet…. He tried to tell me the reason for the hold up on the vents is due to the new tariffs (which I call bull$h!t)…. I will update once/if I receive my refund.

I do not understand anyone who owns a business and thinks lying or refusing to respond to customers is the way to go. It makes no sense. Even if the customer eventually gets his parts the odds of them ordering again or recommending that company are zilch.
Normally in these situations I've been able to help, but in this case he won't respond to me either. |

Talked to John today - he said my parts are made and shipping within a week. So, hopefully good news soon.
Chassisworks did knock off the original design and makes it overseas - I think this was the design that had issues with ethanol. |

The Chassiworks vent cans thread together with an O ring. The older IIMuch cans were epoxied/glued whatever and if I remember right the ethanol was attacking the adhesive.
I like the stainless version from IIMuch but I wish they weren't so hard to get. |
I placed an order for the fuel and differential vent combinination on 5/3/24 order #3499. Still waiting and every time I call I get the "It should ship next week" answer.
I ended up ordering and receiving in a timely manner the Chassis works vent for one project. If the IIMuch vents ever arrive those will be used on another project. |

I have the older version canisters that were available before the new stainless design came out. I ordered these some years ago from Summit Racing. I wonder if his difficulty with fulfilling orders from a major seller like Summit is affecting his private sales. I'm sure Summit has him stretched out with probably hundreds if not thousands of orders per month. Thereby, the individual customer like us suffers. I did try and order direct from him with some difficulty as well. After some waiting, several emails and phone calls, he himself finally instructed me to just order them from Summit. I don't think you can get them through Summit anymore now.

Summit doesn't show his stuff anymore.

My vents and AC bulkehead showed up today.
