Here's some totally random shots from SEMA that I took over the last day and a half. I'll get a webpage and all the images thumbnailed once I get back home.

Hmm, gotta agree with you there. I'd much rather have one of those rides than the ring brothers mustang turned street rod.

That interior is gawdafull freakin horribly ugly.

Speedster 11-02-2006 08:49 PM

Tanx for the pics Scott !! Awesome.

frankenstang 11-02-2006 09:25 PM

Did you see Jeff Schwartz's Ultima? If so can you get some pics up for the rest of the guys? I am so fortunate to have helped even just a little getting it ready for the show. BTW you have pics of his chassis! pic 185 and 184 are the V8TV camaro right?

Musclerodz 11-02-2006 11:47 PM

great pics Scott. Looks like a lot of awesome cars there. There is something horribly wrong with that Motion vert though.

Personnally...Yeah, too much. Its not a Camaro anymore.(flares, spoilers, tonneau etc...)

I tend to like the hood tough. Would be nice to see it closed. I LOVE the Ring's Bro's Mustang and ....The hood. I was trying to come up with something as bad in a GM line up for my car. That yellow hood is an idea.

Me 2 pennies.

Lead.

I couldn't find them, can anybody tell me which pics are of the Ring Bro's Mustang?

Rob07002 11-03-2006 07:23 AM

The Motion Camaro is hideous!

XcYZ 11-03-2006 08:34 AM

I didn't like the Motion car. Way, way, way, way over the top.

The Ring Brother's Mustang is the picture that I posted at the beginning of this thread. It's an incredible car.

JohnnyGMachine 11-03-2006 09:03 AM

As far as a styling execution, the car really is a little over exaggerated. It looks like a 1:1 scale Jada car - if that's what you want to drive. The details are very large and in your face. Now the original old school Motion cars were kinda like that back in the day with the side pipes, big hood scoop and rear spoilers and huge rear tires. I think the idea behind the car is great just the design execution is a little over the top to the point it gets a little toyish. I do like the fact that the rear wheels dish in nicely and the stance is killer. I'm also glad that they nixed the chicken wire mesh out back at the bottom center of the bumper. I think the "floating" hood look is pretty trick but the hinges kinda get into the way of seeing that gorgeous engine, they are a little distracting.
These are just my opinions, so I didn't post to create a fuss. When I critique something I also like to try and keep it positive and point out the things i like as well. I think when we all post our thoughts and opinions on other peoples work I think it is important that whether a company or just a guy building a car in his garage at home that we need to be positive and supportive. Give positive criticism, maybe give a suggestion? I think for the most part we all do, there's a lot of great guys on here and it was great to see everybody at the dinner Wednesday nite!

Just my thoughts,
John

Not a big "Cowl" guy myself so other than the hood I like the rest of the car!

My pleasure, Kevin. Unfortunatey, it was hard to get a full 3/4 shot where it was parked.

I uploaded a bunch more pics from today for a total over 300... Just more random stuff, some ridiculous stuff (like 30" wheels), and some booth candy.

Make sure you know which car was built by Rings. 'FORD design team thought it was the best car there, there isn't a single street rod look on car, several thousand people thought car was great, including the interior(what's your interior look like)

4mm 11-03-2006 10:44 PM

I know Reactor is the Ring Mustang but which one is Alloways?
