Does anyone know of this car or shop? Looks like a cool car but wow they sure want a lot of CASH or maybe there just advertising their shop??

Looks like an advertising ploy to me. Pretty bad looking car though!
|
Those cars are actually for sale. Kind of like the Baldwin Motion thing!! These guys are a sister company of Keech Performance who was or still may be building all the motors for the Baldwin cars. He told me at SEMA he was going on his own with his own line of cars. Cars are very nice but heck of a price tag!!
|
Steve Keech/SSMotorsports donated several door prizes for our SEMA party last month.
|
Boy, look at that price!
Thats nuts! :wow: |
What the hell is this?
That is DSE's old display car! That shop didn't didn't do any of that work on the car, save for drop a TT SBC into it. Look at the purple accents everywhere, like the tubs, roll bar, coil over kit, etc. Looks like the bought the old DSE display shell, and are trying to pass it off as work they did. Also look at that oil pan clearance, it is almost 3 inches below the frame! Tyler |

how many cars do you get for that price? MAN THATS A LOT OF MONEY FOR A CAR WITH JUST BOLT ON GOODIES.
|
They dont know the work that went into that car.....That car was in really bad condition...It was in a hail storm...ugh!
|
If that car sells for that price, the Mule just went up in value $100k, ;) .

Yea that is DSE's display car.

Should we ask them to see the response?
Could be a fun exercise. |

Put some jap sheet metal on it. |
Will go 10's gauranteed! Must have to spend over $200k to go 9's these days!

If the Japanese ever made repro sheetmetal for our cars, it would fit, and it would be absolutely perfect.... |
Why spend that kind of money for that car.
Im sure you can build that engine for about 20k, body work 20k, suspension 10k, brakes 3k, interior 5k, buy the car 10k, tranny 5k, cooling system 2k, A/C 1.5k, misc 10k, rear diff 3k, having some one do everything for you 20k. total and those prices are pretty high in my opinion. $109,500 and you have your one of the best cars around. |
Seems like alot of people selling thier cars are trying to cash in on the "pro-touring" movement..
Here is a picture of the shell from last year.. SW http://www.fototime.com/1803D42809A8A6E/orig.jpg |
