II Much Public Debut At PRI Show. INSANE!!
John Parsons' 67 Chevy II will make it's public debut here at the Performance Racing Industry trade show in Orlando. Show opens tomorrow, Thursday 12/14 at 9:30AM. I have seen it and it is unreal. Low, mean and unlike anything else ever built. The fabrication is incredible.
Someone bring a decent camera and snap a picture. |
Someone bring a camera and get a pic please!

Congrats jp on getting in to PRI and actually getting the car finished!! |

Just got back from the PRI show. Met up with Frank, Michael and Andrew (The Prodigy Customs gang) - thanks for getting me in guys. Owe you some mega food when I come over and pick up the next round of parts. I looked at the new T/A wing that those guys are making for the first gen Camaro/Firebirds and let me tell you, do not even think about ordering one from Year One, NPD, Classis, etc. The one you will be able to get from GP Superstore is FAR superior. Hands down a whole level of magnitude better than what is out there now.
Saw John and II Much, which is right out in front of one of the main entrances to the show - Way to go John !!! Sweet ride for sure. You can tell that John is a perfectionist, he points out the smallest "flaws" which I would have a hard time finding with a microscope. Very clean car. Second time I have seen Steevo, but never really got to talk. First time I saw him at Power Tour in Orlando, but I was talking to Bill and by the time I turned around to talk with Steevo, he was gone. This time we did a fly-by in one of the aisles at PRI and I walked backward and we shook hands while he was talking on his cell phone. Don't worry Steve, we will actually get hooked up one of these times and have some fun. By the way, the billet fender struts are awesome. They came in a few days ago and look killer. Spoke with Kyle and Stacey Tucker at the DSE booth and as usual, they have great customer support and are always there with new products to feed our habit. Anyway, just a quick update. |
No pics?lol

I can't Wait!
I was wondering when this was going to finally be debuted. I've been waiting a long time to see more pics since the suspension articles were published in PHR. There sweet engine shot in PHR a few months ago with II MUCH in the background.
Congrats John! -Josh |
PRI is done. Can we get photos!

Actually, the car is on display just outside of the secure hall, so if all you want to do is see JP's car then come on down. You can see it w/o a badge.
It is amazing!! The more I look, the more I see! Wait till you see the chassis stiffening rods between the engine and the rad. Those parts alone are works of art. And the titanium hardware? /S |
The more you guys talk about it the more I want to see it.

Pix were not allowed, so we went to great lengths to take these. The car is just too cool to hide any longer.

Car looks very well engineered, but dosent show well with that baby blue and the dark wheels! just dosent go well together blue ecs. baby blue isnt an aggressive look and if this car was black whole different attitude. Its like seeing matt hughs from ultimate fighting show up to fight in a light blue dress, But i bet is alot of fun to drive oh did i mention thats the wrong color lol
|
IMO it took balls to paint it something other than red or black. All I can tell you is it really doesn't look "baby blue" in person.

Funny you say that, My dad and I were talking about that today....Thats hes has to have some balls to paint it a blue like that ....Different thats what I like good job john. |
Can't wait for some more pics  .

Well done, it looks great.

I would wait to see the car in person, or when the pros shoot it to decide how it "shows". Personally, I think it looks meaner than hell, but I have had the advantage of shooting John's tech articles. I had many arguments with John about the blue, but he stuck to his guns on the color, and not until I saw it in person did I "get it".
