BONNIE needs some new wheels.. cant decide.. help PICK MY WHEELS!

usually i know exactly what i want but..

Bonnie is in the shop with a full respray of house of color diamond black or just a nice triple black.. brand new ultrawhite vert top and im concidering a new set of wheels.. but hell i cant decide..
spite the size of these cars they cant run wide wheels so im restricted to 8 and under.. 7 is the best i can go with out clearance issues.

now.. with all that said..

my original idea was a set of Astro Supremes with a white wall.
kinda west coastish..
and my other idea was a set of 4 inch Cokers with a bullet cap.
classic gangster look..

i put those as 1 and 9..

these are just SOME ideas i had.. so please choose and if you dont like any of them POST UP ANOTHER IDEA!!

heres the list..

#4 looks good to me.

rwhite692 12-17-2006 12:31 AM

# 6 or #8.

Nice job on those photos!

71Nova 12-17-2006 04:42 AM

What kind of brakes do you have? 4 wheel drum, 4 wheel disk, front disk rear drum? If you ahve 4 wheel drum it would affect my decision.

71Nova 12-17-2006 04:44 AM

I think #8

deuce_454 12-17-2006 08:29 AM

definately number 8! (and some ppg egg shell flat CC on a raven black BC..)

JV69z/28 12-17-2006 06:47 PM

That car is crying for #8 - they are perfect for that car.

Mr.VENGEANCE 12-17-2006 08:24 PM

Alright..

how about this.. i took the two best ones and mixed them..
smoothie billets and the wide whites..

dig?

and thought of the idea of painting the bumpers and trim.. more agressive look.

what ya think?

XcYZ 12-18-2006 07:04 AM

I don't know, that's a tough one. It looks good in the photochopped pic but a lot of times painted bumpers don't look right.

That said, I do like the painted bumper version better.

Budnik Wheels 12-18-2006 02:33 PM

I think everyone is pretty sure which one I like... I'm not bias at all! :_paranoid sweet car!

rwhite692 12-18-2006 11:38 PM

Wide Whites, Yes.

Wheel #8, Yes.

Painted Bumpers...Noooo...

Bulldog68 12-19-2006 05:33 AM

+1 for #8. Those fit the car just right.

SpeedyV10 12-19-2006 07:37 AM

Could you post a link to the website for the #7 wheels (Random). I like those and can't find them in the internet.

Tony@AirRideTech 12-21-2006 08:10 AM

It depends on what you are after with the overall look of the car..... For the renderings you have anf for that old school look, the steelies and the bullet caps look just as good as the solids...... Throw some pinstiping on with the steelies and leave the chrome on it. In a lot of cases... painted chrome means you didnt have good trim/bumpers to begin with and you rushed the car :D

novanutcase 12-21-2006 10:11 AM

I agree with Tony! What look are you going for on the car? If your going old school then #8 but if you're going for a pro-tour then #4 or #7. How about some Coys if you go pro-tour? Oh, and as far as the painted bumper.....don't like it! I'd axe the rocker trim but the front and back would be best left alone in my opinion!

Mr.VENGEANCE 12-28-2006 03:26 AM

yea im not all fort the bumper painting it was just a thought..

i mean look at it from this way.. i want to to be old school with a modern twist..

like you could see Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci, and Bobby Deniro hop out of it on thier way to Goodguys.

just 3 Goodfellas.. with a Goodguys hot rod look.

clean.. gangster...

Of the 9 offered number 8 looks awesome, but some alternatives:

These will be going on my car

Or for something a bit different

These are flush and look fantastic

I think for what Venemous is going for lookswise those wheels are a little too modern looking. I think he wants to go with more a classic look but with a modern twist to it.
