more surprises....as you can see in the photos the power steering column and the manual transmission was from another car

Wow, what was up with the paint and spoiler? Glad to see you're helping that poor soul out.
Glad to see another Camaro saved. Keep up the good work and keep us posted.
Keep up the good work , must be hard to find parts down there,
WHOA!.. talk about a good save!.. that camaro loves you for life!
Talk about determination..
My utmost congratulations for showing what can be done under what I immagine are not the easiest surroundings, partswise. You really show us all who complain about the conditions and parts problems we share in the usa, to just shut up and deal with it.. I cant wait to see your project complete. Right now, even if you took a paint brush to it, you improved it about ten thousand percent.. Great effort.. phil

Man! I was speachless until I saw the next couple of pages. Whew! Looking good! Keep it up.
Why didn't you leave it the way you bought it?? If you still have the spoiler I'd love to buy it for my 69 I'm building now. :D Seriously, looks like it's coming along great.
Looking good and your making excellent progress...good luck!
On behalf of your car, "Thank You!!"
Keep up the great work! Are you doing most of it yourself?? |
thanks, all these comments are an inspiration for me.
The work we are doing it in the workshop of a friend, I expect to have finished the body work before end of the year. the spoiler was made of wood!!!! lightweight???? :unibrow: and the yelow "spots" are made of vinyl philbay: the biggest problem is that the parts cost me 75 % more than the price in USA plus the shipping time.... But always I liked the Camaros so, I do it with pleasure Sorry I know that my english is bad |
MAN! that was quick!
Nice work mate love the colour...
All I can say is WOW!!
Great job! I am glad to see that you are not only saving her, but well on your way to making her beautiful once again  |

NICE color.. and it looks like your girl likes it too!
talk about saves the day..:willy: |
What color is that. I'm getting my test panels later this week. Looks real close to what I'm going towards. Chevy C6 LeMans Blue or Ford Vista Blue.
thanks god my wife loves the color too
the color is basically a modified midnight blue metallic with pearls, it´s custom sorry I don´t have a paint code |

I know it has been said alot already but I'll say it again. Thanks for saving that Camaro. Your progress looks great.
Wow!
That's an incredible effort on your part. Truly a astonishing piece of work! The color looks a lot like Dodge Viper blue... It's nice! Are there many muscle cars in Panama? My car has been to Panama, when it was shipped trough the canal. It's sailed both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans... Los Angeles to Oslo. Once again, keep up the good work! |
In Panama there is not many old muscle cars in good condition, a long time ago there was more but Americans came to buy them (again). But Panama is a small country.
