anybody here appreciate fine watches.........

but cannot afford them or at least prefer to spend thier money on something else but still would like to wear a 12k watch?
i have a soulution for you....

Fluid Power 01-07-2007 07:04 PM

lay it on me....I love watches, but have really given up on collecting them. My favorite watch that I am wearing now is a military dive watch, made by Marathon, with Tritium numbers so it glows really bright (radioactive!) all the time. $450.00....

What is your solution? I am partial to nice time pieces, some people just don't understand!:D

Steve68 01-08-2007 07:19 AM

I like them, mainstream stuff, we use Omegas on the Space suits, well, used too, don't fly them much any more,

Ok, maybe I'm a bit slow, but how do you tell time with this?

Is your price $3600 or $360? If it is $360, it almost seems too good to be true if they are normally $10K-$12K. Just curious.

Steve1968LS2 01-09-2007 08:37 AM

So they are able to sell a $12,000 watch for $360 how?

Are they just REALLY good knock offs? nothing wrong with that, I have a friend with a fake Rolex. Thing looks surprisingly real.

hi steve68, i'm stoked you like the site as i said the people are great. i bought my watch from one of the sellers on the site, there are many differn't grades of watches from each seller, some have asian movements, some are swiss and some are german if i'm not mistaken. there are a plethora of small nuances that the average person will not notice or at least i did not. most of the watches are not perfect replicas but they can be pretty close to the real thing.as far as the differnt dealers are concerned all listed on the sire are pretty good, some offer better prices, some offer watches closer to the real thing. i bought my watch through a dealer named davidsen, and i am happy with the product. each dealer has a web site to choose from. if you post a thread on the site and ask for help choosing a watch people will be happy to assist you, if you are interest in panerai's pm a guy named babola, when it comes to panerai's he know's his stuff and may i also say do alot of reading about model of the watch you want because there are so many to choose from. my name is sexybeast on the site if i didn't answer your question correctly

thats so true its not even funny...

nice knockoff watch btw, but are the pics of an original or of what you get for 360... which is an expensive knock-off watch!

any other copies.. would love a 1965 breitling, or 60'ies IWC

nvawgn 01-11-2007 09:21 PM

yea true that, the gen pics are easy to find, become a member and they got what you need, patek phillipes, brietlings and everything else!

67rsconvert 04-21-2007 06:59 PM

Why not just buy a good watch from a reputable manufacturer for the same money? You will be happier with the watch in the long run.

Yan69 09-11-2007 06:19 AM

Panerai

i got the Power reserve Panerai for 7000$ in Montreal, if you can get them for 350$ i want a Dozen.
Yan :wow:
