How much did the Tuttles (American Chopper) two Elenores bring at BJ? Foose?
Anyone know. I can't remember the lot number.
The whole deal was sorta lame. From what I understand they were each given a car and then turn around and sell them. The sad part is Paul Sr's only had 17 miles on it.. He didn't even drive the damn think.. Jr's didn't have much more on it. Sort of an insult to Unique Performance. Anyways, who knows what they went for? Oh, and what did the Foose Challenger go for? |
$205K and $215K if memory serves. The car bike combos did not do well at all. but since the cars were probably traded for show time, I guess $400K ain't bad

Jr's Eleanor, lot 1318, $247,500
Sr's Eleanor, lot 1317, $231,000 |
Foose/Unique Challenger #1320.4 sold for $345,000
What did the Overhaulin Charger that they did at Sema sell for I can't find the result. #9009 |

Can someone tell me the hole idea of "american chopper" they show it here too but people just laugh at em mostly.Do people really dig these guys and bikes in there(us) or is it just cool joke ? And if Unique really gave those beautifull cars away (for payment!?!) for those ridiculous bikes that makes me wonder at some is really paying +100k of them..?? I just dont get it.

I'm guessing it was partly in trade for the bike, and in part for all the advertising they got for being on the TV show. That's why all those companies want to have theme bikes built. They get 1 or 2 hours of primetime TV coverage.

I realize that most everything on TV is done for Dramatic Effect..
However it seems like the Tuttles are always involved in helping worthy causes. Whether it is a terminally ill child, the NYPD post 911 or whatever. For that alone I have to give them a   Scott |

I like the show, sorry got hooked on it. I don't know one chopper from another, but it's cool seeing any bike/car built up from scratch - I like seeing the details that go into it. |
Their show has got to be better then "Unique Whips." Who's watching that?
What happed to "Ride?" Did it get cancelled. Best 'car' show there was, IMO. |

Where did you read this? I loved "Rides"! No other car show took the viewer into the places/shops like Rides. |

At least Frank Sr. really enjoyed his Elenore.. I bet he hammered on it and really put the through its paces during the 17 miles he put on it! :_paranoid
Oh wait, 10 of those miles were probably Unique's shake down cruise. |

Frank you nail it! I am consider these to cover my boring seats in future.. http://shop.orangecountychoppers.com...6521R01_ex.jpg |
As Frank said all their money comes from marketing crap like t-shirts, video games, coffee mugs, etc. I bet the bike business is about 1% of their annual income.

Yeah...But it works!
