Photoshop wheel swap help
I am thinking about going with a different set of wheels for the 65 and I am really leaning towards the Ford GT replicas. Can someone photoshop these onto my car so I can get a better picture of what they will look like. Thanks in advance.

Here you go, it's pretty crude, I only spent a minute or two on it, but you get the idea. I also lowered it.

I say keep the FR-500's and go with a darker wheel center, something more along the lines of gunmeta! :unibrow:

ya but nothing else on the car is dark. It has no gray or black accents to go with it. Since I am leaving the bumper, gas cap, molding, and front grills chrome I think I am just going to go with a set of 18in chrome fr500s

I think those dark-colored spokes look killer...here's some examples for you: American Racing CL200S: http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC01149.jpg American Racing CL205: http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC00643.jpg Vintage Wheel Works V40's: http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC00652.jpg |
You might want to try a combo of Gunmetal and polished....

I usually run with the top down...
;) Lead. (you could get vinyl if its the only thing slowing you down,hehe...Or get the lower portion shooted black with an accent or somthing/ not too expensive either.) |
I'm just going to go with my gut. And my gut tells me to go with chrome. Eventually I will redo the car with coil overs and better suspension. When I do that I will go with a different set of wheels.

Dont go with the coys.

Those look sweet. I am just tired of the bullet wheel look on mustangs. I am going with a set of Chrome FR500s.
|
I think lead's forged lines would look sweet.

Man thats hot! Wish I had the cash.

Do as you wish, your money. However, chrome does not look good on this car! Period. All you have to do is look at the previous pick. If photo shop can't convince you then I don't know what will. Just my 2 cents, I hate to see you throw away good money. Remember the proper wheels and stance help make the car. IMO, I think these other guys postings are on the right track. R.P. |

Invest in suspension upgrades to get the car at a proper ride height. R.P. |
What about these?

You must be made of money, lol. You are going to purcahse another set now, just to change in the future to another set? Expensive hobby. I'm just trying to get you to slow down and think this thing through. R.P. |
Well...
Not to be impersonnal here but, from your own comment, is money the issue? Wheels DEFINETELY make or brake the car. I'm with Roger here. You might want to (slow down) save up a bit and get the good ones on the first shot instead of going halfway and regretting it everytime you look at your car, not to mention the wasted dough... Hey, btw. Who 'shopped the door handles out??? This is no street rod scene! Put 'em back on!!! Lead. (Paul, glad you like my hoops!) |
lol you made me have to make a phone call and do some looking! lol
