Best Wife

OK guys, So my wife has our taxes done this weekend. We get a good little some of money.

My wife comes home from the tax place, tells me to pay off the credit card and car loan we have, then get your car in to be finished. She said you have waited long enough and now it is your turn.

Oh and by the way I have been looking into getting your garage painted and the floor done, we will do that while the car is gone.

OH Happy days for me. Now to get the car in to the shop to have it finished. Hopefully will be driving next summer! I love my wife.

cykotic 02-05-2007 02:32 PM

Sounds like something out of a dream. Too good to be true. Damn glad for ya though.

nvawgn 02-05-2007 02:38 PM

100$ says he gets lucky tonight too!
:hail:

Steve1968LS2 02-05-2007 03:00 PM

Yea,

My wife said we could use some to dry wall and "pretty up" the garage.. She said "Penny needs a nice place to stay".. lol

Looks like we both married up

Bandit 02-05-2007 03:34 PM

I'll take this as an opportunity to brag up on my wife as well...she never complains when I order up the latest widget for the car, and Summit is a household name around our place. As long as she gets to place an order from Spiegel or Victoria's Secret every now and then, she's happy (and that works to my benefit as well...:unibrow: ) Guys are shocked when they come over and see my wife climb out from under the hood of my car...not only does she allow me to work on the car, but she helps me too! What a perfect woman.

HRBS 02-05-2007 03:41 PM

We definetly married 'up'.
I built my wife a nice little flamed Nova and after a year she now wants to sell it and "upgrade" to a 70 GTO twin turbo !
I created a monster ! :faint:
Moral of the story: "Be careful what you wish for !"

Perry Mitchell 02-05-2007 04:01 PM

That must have been a hell of a tax refund!!

Ummgawa 02-05-2007 04:18 PM

She hasn't got a boyfriend or anything does she?:wow:

Dude you are the man!!! You have missed your calling. You should be giving Seminars on this. "How to convince your Wife to let you spend BIG money on your car project by Mike." You's be a millionaire inside of a month.

Datsbad 02-05-2007 05:21 PM

Good wife and congrats.

I myself have a pretty amazing one also . She also is a car nut ,(drives a 550 rwhp car ), Its nice not to hear any complaints about whatever I buy .
She even has her own body mods done herself:yes: :unibrow:

Derek69SS 02-05-2007 05:47 PM

buickfunnycar.com 02-05-2007 05:54 PM

My wife never complains...even when I buy car after car...and now she's just given me approval to build my dream 3-car garage in our backyard.

And the best part...?While I spend all the $$$,she still wears the clothes she wore in HS...and she's 35.The woman just flat out refuses to spend money!

I bought my wife a conv. Vette for mothers day 4 yrs ago. We now have a 3 yr old little girl and trying to have another baby, so she said she wants a conv. WS6 T/A six speed, because they have a back seat and a trunk. I get to take over the Vette and so another project is brewing in my head. I have a great wife.

And those mods are very nice? Did I say that out loud?

I will brag a bit to. I have been very fortunate to not have to spend on body mods so we spend that money on more cars. Lisa not only condones my sickness, she helps feed it. While Lisa and I had other business today, Michael retrieved the new Firebird project. Lisa instructed him "Don't Touch It". Soon as we got the shop she started the nasty job of cleaning it up. Gotta love a pretty girl with a dirty side to her, LOL!

That is hilarious, that is what Lisa wanted (and has) for her 15th Anniversary present.

Great minds.......

zbugger 02-05-2007 09:06 PM

Well, so far my girlfriend supports everything I do and want to do that's car related. I also kinda got her bit by the bug, so to speak. I went on the Scion website and just for fun built my own TC, as she owns one, and told her she should have gotten the one I built online. She's trying to now. Yeah, modifying her own car because she thinks it's cool. I don't care what kind of car it is, that's cool in itself. But last car show we went to, and it was her first, she saw a '56 Bel Air and wants one now. Modified, of course...... I'm doing everything I can to keep her.

bowtie1965 02-05-2007 09:09 PM

YEAH! I have a great wife also. I'm finishing my 3 car garage. New lift, apoxy floor, a/c, and she still gave me the ok to do a brake and suspention up grade on my chevelle. GOTTA LOVE IT!

Damn True 02-05-2007 11:39 PM

Can you pass on my wifes email addy to your wife?

mdprovee 02-06-2007 07:59 AM

Well we were able to pay off a few things with the tax return.

Then she got a good bonus from work, and said to get a equity loan to cover the difference. Sounds like a plan.

One stipulation is she wants some body mods herself, of which I have no problem with.

It's nice we all have great wives.

That's funny, because I said well babe, I show them pictures of the car. They like body mods.

She wasnt as energetic about that.

tyoneal 02-06-2007 11:16 AM

To All:

Sounds like you guys got lucky also.

My wife doesn't have her own ride, however she always encourages me and loves to go riding in any of mine.

She did the "Riding Experiance", out at Texas Motor Speedway, and spend the better part of an afternoon at 150+ riding NASCAR prepped Stock Car. She loves, "Top Fuel", NASCAR, and the Bonnieville Speed Week, as well as meeting and visiting with the Drivers.

I am a very lucky guy.
