Ok i know alot of you don't like the show but trust me you gotta watch it on Wednsday Feb 21 (check your local listings) my listing shows 9:30 EST 6:30 PST

From everything we have herd it is by far the BEST episode ever.

please let me know what you think

mazspeed 02-20-2007 07:02 PM

I have a real hard time watching that show, but Ill check out your races. Always support the forums.

youthpastor 02-20-2007 07:41 PM

you can catch it now if you have on demand- I saw it last weekend. I thought it represented Killer Customs very well-good job guys.

Whatever happened to the Malibu?-Chris

Boulder69 02-20-2007 09:58 PM

I've only seen a few because the host is such an a$$clown. But I did watch your episode "on demand" and the racing was sick! I can't believe you saved a 69 then put it up to lose like that. But you won! Nice exposure.

Speedster 02-21-2007 04:11 AM

Haven't seen that epsiode, but I will be sure to DVR it to see you guys run. Cool stuff.

va72mlibu 02-21-2007 04:32 AM

I watched it on-demand as well. Excellent negotiating and driving.

Blake Foster 02-21-2007 07:26 AM

DAMN so how does it work. it is supposed to be the season premier and you guys have all seen it???? i havent even seen it!!!! well except from behind the windsheild.
i guess i will have to wait till tonight

3kidsnotime 02-21-2007 08:09 AM

I wathced it on demand some very close racing on there. A very nice one that car laid over. :woot:

Rybar 02-22-2007 12:29 AM

Watched it tonight Blake, good job on the runs and the car was the nicest I've seen on Pinks so far. I never knew the races were that close and yes it was a good episode since both sides didn't bitch very much and were pretty fair with eachother.

ccracin 02-22-2007 05:01 AM

That's how it should be done Blake. Not only did you guys do it professionaly you took a bad a$$ ride. Anyone can clean out the garage a throw something together. You represented what real custom shops can do.

Cheers!

62wagon 02-22-2007 05:18 AM

Congratulations! I won't call it the best episode as I thought the two brothers from last year was the best. With that said, your episode was a close second. You both represented yourselves in a very professional manner. No bitching, just get the negotiation done and race. That is the way it should be. Killer Customs should all hold their heads up with absolute pride. What's to come of the Malibu?

Mark

BTW - The stance of the Camaro was incredible. That car set a ton!!

XcYZ 02-22-2007 05:43 AM

I only caught the last 2 minutes. I'll have to catch the rerun.

Congrats again, Blake.

comp-spec 02-22-2007 07:04 AM

KILLER, nice job

Beach Cruiser 02-22-2007 07:31 AM

Congrats! I liked the close racing... one of the best yet, and no bitchin, just racin. Never did say why the malibu fell at the end, I'd be curious to know what happend

Blake Foster 02-22-2007 08:16 AM

Whew...... Thanks guys. i have to say again that was the most intense thing i have ever done!!!
the reason his car fell off in the last race was fouled plugs, they brought the car with the KILLER hahahaha tune up (guess not) and when we negotiated only 5 psi of boost the fuel map was all wrong, they actually started to change the plugs between 4 and 5 and one of our guys caught it and they hadn't negotiated the change so they graciously put the old ones back in and as they say the rest is history.

i'm glad we could represent Canada and take a a cool ride at the same time.

once again thanks

I third that !!!

It is much better when there is real negotiations, not bitchin' and whining. Your episode was great. If they hadn't nosed over, do you think you would have won ? i.e. Were you running balls out every pass ? Both your team and the others acted very professional.

oldzzy 02-22-2007 08:45 AM

Awesome job! I will be wearing my Killer Customs shirt proudly today! Way to represent Canada!

Show always had a little too much drama for me, but I'll make sure to check it out!

Blake Foster 02-22-2007 05:32 PM

When we tested thecar 2 days prior to the race. it ran a best of 9.96 @ 132? it's been a while since i lookd at the slip.
what do i think would have happened if his car hadn't nosed over............ you want to know how many times i have wondered that my self. i think it would have been sooooooo close i really don't know, i think i left on him in the last race and i think most of the other runs he left on me a bit so we beat him at 1.25 lenghts. the car definatly hooked hard on the last run. i think it could have gone either way but it would have been really close. let me tell you i like fouled plugs:hail: cuz i really did not want to hand over the camaro.

TravisB 02-22-2007 06:58 PM

I liked the episode.....two very nice cars. Well done

The camaro was badass.........

Very cool Blake. People with your positive demeanor and killer car are why people want to watch a show like PINKS. Running the car hard each run knowing that the outcome could go either way - no BS. BTW, nice driving especially on the last run. Gotta love it when a couple of $2 parts ensured a win... Glad you could get the tranny leak under control too. Congrats again !

Blake Foster 02-23-2007 08:12 AM

That Damn tranny leak. we made 15 runs the thursday before ( 5 of them in 18 mins) and not a drop. then first run pukes fluid out all over the place.

radrambler 02-23-2007 08:55 AM

great job

congrats
killer

camaro looked great.love to see before pics of it
.im glad that nobody got into a huge pissing contest..

radrambler

JayR 02-23-2007 01:39 PM

Say what you will about Pinks and Rich Christiansen but it has to be unnerving putting your ride on the line and those were two of the coolest ones on the show yet.

The new format is cool and I appreciate not having to wait through a commercial to see the outcome of each race! Blake and Brian really showed a lot of class and sportsmanship. Not all that yelling and "S" talking, just negotiating and seriously close racing. Hopefully future contestants follow their examples.

If they ever film at your home track, go check it out. It was quite the spectacle and you can definitely feel the drama and intensity.

Oh, and how nasty was the stance on Blake's Camaro?!?!

Blake Foster 02-24-2007 09:54 AM

HaHaHa you wat to see what we started with

Here it is
4.5 weeks!! after hours total investment not including labour and BEER!!! 33,000.00 Canadian. like i said before "I love fouled plugs"

TravisB 02-24-2007 03:43 PM

I dont know what taht tranlates to but you shouldbe very proud of yourselves that is a badass car. Where is the malibu?

Blake Foster 02-24-2007 08:54 PM

Your not sure what the "i love fouled plugs" means? on the last run the malibu's plugs were fouled and he couldn't make enough power to catch me and there for.......... his car is sitting in my showroom at the shop.
oh and i am very proud......... mostly of the guys who put in the long hours to build this car so we could hopefully increase our business and our presence in the custom community and be an integral part of the hobbie that is soo cool, i can gaurentee there is no way this would have happened with out all the help from everyone.

Tim Baillie 02-25-2007 06:48 PM

Blake, it was a awesome show and the most professional one I have seen. It was also hands down the best "branded" car I have every seen, it got the word out about Killer, the shop and the website. Your associate sponsors should be proud of their exposure as well, especially Lordco.

Are you prepared ?

Just think.............West Coast Choppers and OCC started in the same kind of manner................

It's hella cool !
