I forgot to post the details:

It is a 33 Plymouth built by Time Machines. It's the Paint and body shop manager's personal car.

Hdesign 03-02-2007 11:02 AM

Thanks for posting this Scott.

Mike Staveski of TimeMachines Inc. talked to me about this project a while back and since I haven't worked on a pre-war project in a while I jumped at the opportunity. Mike and James (the owner) had a lot of great ideas as far as subtle body mods and powerplant that will really create an outstanding car. It was great working with them again and I look forward to seeing it finished.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

33 Plymouth

This car is being built in my shop but not for a client. It is my body shop manager's car. His name is James McLeod. We do so much with Mopar Performance, we wanted to show them what a street rod would look like with one of the crate motors in it.

James borrowed the barbed wire from the mopar race car to spilt the blue and silver. Of course, what's a mopar without a shaker hood. It has a mustang II style front end with a quick change rear.

It will be a very nice car when completed. We will post pictures as it goes.

Kudos to Ben. He did/does a great job.......

Thanks

Nice, very smooth. I think it does what a rendering should do. Gives you a nice clear impression on what it should look like.

33 Plymouth update

Hi guys,

Here is the finished product from the design work we had Ben do for us. The car is done. We debuted it at the Mansion last friday and it will be at SEMA in central hall in Atech's display. It is powered by our new 500 HP 6.1 Hemi engine. It has a lot of cool muscle car tricks, we are calling this new line Muscle Rod. Ben has already done another rendering within the line on a 41 Willys.

Thanks
Mike

Nice work as usual! How's the new website coming?

Hdesign 10-22-2008 07:21 AM

I had put the website on the back burner until I caught up with my work. I didn't want to leave people hanging that have been patiently waiting for their stuff. Last week I finally handed off a rough draft to Scott.

DVierstra 10-22-2008 10:44 AM

Awesome car and beautiful rendering . You both do awesome work.

tony byram 10-24-2008 06:23 PM

Ben. God has truly blessed you with a wonderful talent, your artwork is amazing! Thats one of the sharpest pre-war coupes Ive seen.

city_ofthe_south 10-27-2008 02:06 PM

the standard in awesome. I think I might like the rendering's wheels better than the outcome.

Stuart Adams 10-27-2008 03:30 PM

Too cool.
