Yea, I didn't see him getting in.. I was like "WTF!" when she started reving.. lol I was gonna do it in the engine bay but then I remembered the Fly-by-wire. Exhaust tomorrow, alignment next, dynamat, finish wiring, install Wilwood brakes, interior and tune. Goal is for the Del Mar Good Guys show... |
Looks great. That sounds like open headers. It is, isn't it? Also, is it baseline tuned? Or is that closer to final tune?
|
Holy crap that makes me all giddy inside like a little schoolgirl. :D
Sounds fantastic! |

Yep, open header. The new 3-inch exhaust goes on tomorrow. |

I just LOVE that car. hmmm wonder how dark wheels would look on my car!!!lol
|
Well done Steve!
The car is absolutely beautiful. It just looks soo stout. Straight to the point and very well detailed. good work. I look forward to seeing more |
Very cool Steve, thanks for sharing!! We're not purests here at all but one thing I've always wondered about your car is why it has a round door mirror not the rectangle mirror usually found on '68's? Were the round mirrors used in early 68? Just curious and trying to learn...again bitchin car!!
Oh, and what are your plans for an e-brake? |

If you don't mind, give some specifics on how you plan to route it. I am also looking at a 3 link, but I haven't seen a rear exit exhaust on one yet. Thanks, Ty |

Way to go Steve!! Now we can't wait to see it on the road..
|
You are so close
I bet listening to it run makes your sticker peck out.
|
Awesome - Bad Penny lives up to her looks so far. Exhaust??!!!! You don't need that, perfectly streetable as is!!! LOL! I want to see vids posted of cruising and yamming on it!!! The wheel/tire and stance is dead on. I had a couple of the GMP guys huddled around the monitor playing the movie this morning. We thought - so THAT's what the 1968 Red Street Fighter would sound like....
Thanks for sharing, John |

I hope the exhaust doesn't quiet it down too much. Oh, I like your avatar John. |
