Slck6t9's Camaro
I too thought I might try this before the big dogs come in. I have been working on my car for about 5 years now as time, money and the military allow. Needless to say it is along way from where I would like it to be. Someday I would like to be in a class like a few of you. Here are a few details on the car.
383 w/goodies 700R4, 3:73 posi Hotchkiss front and rear sway bars QA1 adjustable coil-overs in front with QA1 shocks in rear subframe connectors Be-cool radiator w/ dual spal fans March underdrive pulleys 4th gen camaro seats The over used TTll's B&M Hammer shifter Chambered exhaust Still a work in progress but I love it. Scott, what setup are the QA1 coilovers? Is the spring the tapered style that use the stock spring pockets?
|
Hey Scott the car looks great!
|
Awesome car! Dont worry bout overused TTII's, what looks good, looks good right?
Tim |
Thanks guys,Scott the QA1's are are the tapered spring style that fits in stock pocket.

Great job Scott! I like the attention to detail under the hood.
|
Nice....
Looks great...nice car!
|
Thanks Bill and BAD6SPD. Now I just hope Santa brings me something from the DSE giftbag like Baer Brakes or windshield wiper or steering box etc. We'll have to wait a couple more weeks to find out though. Again thanks. I would like to be in the class of you guys but it will awhile.
Scott |
overused? pffttt... they look great!
|
I agree Max. Back when I got them 5 years ago not to many people had them. I need to use the extra money for other things I want on the car now instead of trading them for something different. Plus I still think they look good. There are practically no cars in my area with them on so I'm good.

Nice car! It's tough to be at the looks on an RS '69...
My dream = 69 RS/SS Cortez Silver w/ black stripes :) |
Car is real clean! Nice job!
|
Great ride Scott! I like the way you integrated the Hammer shifter. Nice touch.
|
Guys thanks for the kind gestures. It is no where near some of yours on here but I'm slowly(I mean slowly) trying. It's just a pleasure being able to hang out here with you guys and learn so much. I have the passion now I just need the bank. :D
Again thanks Scott |
Your car looks great Scott.
|
Classic looks, modern performance. Excellent job.
Tyler |
Scott-
TT II's will always be in, they look great!! Motor shot looks a little fuzzy, but I can tell it nicely detailed. Well executed. Keep up the good work! Brent |
Again thanks for the compliments. As for the fuzzy motor shot I had to resize it to get it to fit. I don't have it hosted anywhere and I'm terrible with computers.

How it Texas treating you
I was messing aroung and saw where you has posted your car up. How is Texas? I am sure that you are missing Fl. I have seen you car before and I still like it. Any word on the one that you sold?
|
Hey Payton things are going pretty good here in Texas. Still miss Florida though. As for the other car the guy that bought it is steadly making progress on it. He hopes to have it finished by the end of the year. After seeing some updates on your car all I can say is WOW. Good to here from you.

I love the detail of using late-model seats with original-style upholstery! I'm doing the same idea with mine. It's good to see how well they come out! Great car!
|
Y-TRY thanks for the compliments. The seats did turn out nice and man what a difference in comfort and having 8-way power.
Scott |
Nice  I like the color also. Good work.
Jay |
