New Project and Renderings
I have been following the board for awhile now and finally am ready to get underway with my project 69 Camaro. I would like to get some feedback from you guys on renderings of the car and color choices........Let me know what you think.
Also, I want to give a shout out to CARTER, who did the renderings and I must say he is a great guy to work with. He gave me all I asked for and more and the most important part is I finally have direction with my project. THANKS CARTER!!!!!!!!! http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...er__small1.jpg http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...ndy_small1.jpg Bret Ervin |
Looks pretty nice,im not sure about that rear spoiler though. What are the details on the car?
|
Another awesome rendering by The Great Carter. He is suddenly everywhere. I knew I should have got him under contract before he was famous!
Car looks cool, rear spoiler may look better in real life, maybe work on proportions. |
I like it, looks cool. If I were to add any constructive criticism, it would be to make the stripe go all the way to the leading edge of the valence. :)
I like the silver/black version. |
Geez Carter, slow down, you're making sparks!!!!! What's that 6 project renderings in 3 weeks? Cripes, I need to start drinking coffee or something.
Great work as usual! I also agree with Scott on both accounts. There's always a little more tweaking to do! |
I really like it the way it's drawn, nice!
|
Bret, looks good and thanks for the opportunity.
Ben, just trying to be a rockstar like you guys on the artwork page! I still have more that I haven't posted cause clients get that privilege, but these have been fun to do. I gotta slow down some though cause I gotta finish up the HOK software rewrite. Frank, dude thanks for the kind words. I am send you an email now. Thanks again guys! Carter |
Carter, great rendering. You are becoming a household name it seems. :)
I like the burgandy version myself. Lotsa lotsa silver cars out there. Both look sweet. |
David, I here you on the silvers. Both of you guys were having the same thoughts at the same time.

By the way, love your car, I wouldn't mind throwing some of that same flavor at mine...... Bret |
Bret,I just think GM did a nice job on spoiler and it looks good stock.Having said that mine was changed and mounted flush. At first look it does look stock though.
Thanks for the compliment. |
Hey what are the specs on the car?

Running gear:ZZ4 350(possibly add EFI),700R4, 10bolt Posi rear, all these items are already in the car. Suspension: Will be adding aftermarket subframe (probably AM), undecided on rear yet, Wilwood 14" fronts, 13" rears, Forgelines or IForged 18" fronts, and 19" rears, satin black centers Exterior: As you can see the car is already silver, so I am leaning towards that color, would make it a lot easier on me. What you can't see if there is a ton of dust in the paint (the guy I bought it from shot it in his garage!), so repaint is a must. Will satin black out bumpers and all windshield trim, ect. Interior: Plan on going with full Marquez dash and doorpanels and a set of aftermarket seats. Thats somewhat of the tentative plan, we will see how it goes. http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...CamaroSide.jpg Bret |
