April 07 Feature: Jack Hodson's 67 Camaro
The April '07 Feature car is Jack Hodson's bitchin 67 Camaro. Beyond the fantastic fit and finish, it has great details. I love the color scheme and the subtle stripes. The brushed wheels look great. You should be damn proud, Jack. I see a magazine feature in your future.

Had a chance to see this car at the Goodguys Southwest nationals last fall, pre-Budnik treatment. The car turned out awesome. Nice work!

Beautiful car Jack. There are many details that you did that had such an impact, I changed my mind on some stuff for my ride. Those wheels look killer brushed instead of polished. You are to be congratulated on the clean ride you built...
Jack, congrats on the article. You have a very beautiful car!!
Thank you for all of the positive comments guys!! Just got back from Del Mar, killer show! Met several people from here and also a few site sponsors. Steve's car is awesome can't wait to here about some track reports. I also want to say thanks to the guys at Marquez Design, I'll get you some pics soon.
Very nice, congrats on a great job.
What is the backspacing on your front wheels? Again, great job.  |
Very nice. Love the color.
shannon, Front backspacing is 5" , rear is 5.75". Your pedals are perfect, one of these days I'm going to get around to converting the e-brake pedal to a dimmer pedal.
Thanks for the words on the pedal covers and let me know when you are ready for the other one.
I think I may have to switch to a 18" front. I like how it fills the fender well up. Right now I have 18x12's on the back and 17x8's on the front. My fronts have a 5.25' BS but I have a 1/4" spacer on them. The 5" BS looks great on your car. Again awesome car. |
PERFECT :hail:
Very nice! Do those rear tires ever rub?
Mark, This is the second set of wheels and tires, the first set are torque thrust II 18" x 10" rears and 17" x 8" fronts. The fronts would rub a little an hard bumps outer lip. never had any problems with the rear and even went from a 275/40/18 to a 285/30/20 with the new set, still no problems.
Hi Jack, car look unreal, great job, and the 600B looks right at home under the hood! I hope one day I get to see it in person,
Wow, just wow.
What mirrors are those? |
Thanks Steve, was wondering if I'd here from you. Yeah, the procharger worked out well!!
The mirrors are a Hot rod mirror from a company called vision I believe. |
I'm glad for you, and I get to see something being used, post some videos of it driving around, too bad your on the other coast,
