Max's '68 Camaro

Here's my ride, many many future mods this summer including lowering springs, Corbeau seats (Courtesy of Scott!), new steering wheel, full gauge cluster in dash...etc..

But, my car went from this

Nice car and great progress. I like the look of 67's and 68's without the bumper, you keeping it like that or no?
Good Luck

Thank you!! Your probably one of three people that actually like it without the bumper, and yes i'm keeping it that way... i've already sold the bumper! ;)

Good job Max. Helluva transformation. You will think that you're looking at and driving a completely different car once it's lowered.

Your car looks great Max.........nice transformation.

Teetoe_Jones 12-06-2004 07:44 PM

I like it. You do need a drop in ride height IMO.
I've always liked the bumperless look, ever since the Red Witch.

Looks great. You have done an excellent job so far. Keep getting those hand me downs from Scott, you can't go wrong-he buys good stuff!! LOL!! I have to agree though, needs a little altitude adjustment.

Hey Max............car looks great.....

Am I allowed to ask you the wheel and tire size along with Backspaced used?

XcYZ 12-07-2004 12:17 PM

The fronts are 17x8 with 4.75" of BS with a 245/45/17 tire and the rears are 17x9.5 with 5.5" of BS with a 275/40/17 tire. I think it looks great!

hotwheels 12-07-2004 08:39 PM

MaxHarvard 12-08-2004 07:32 AM

thanks guys, but actually scott the fronts are 4.5" BS ;)

And as for the "hand me downs" hell, i'll take 'em if they are always as nice as what scott has.

Looks hot, Max. I too have given some thought to going bumperless on my '68. If I do it, however, I will probably fill in the mounting locations on the fenders like Stielow did with The Red Witch.

Ummgawa 02-14-2005 03:34 PM

Beautiful Car Eric.

Agreed, the openings look a bit odd.
