World's largest intentional traffic jam? Sure why not. I'm in.

XcYZ 04-26-2005 08:22 PM

I'm seriously considering going and I'm thinking about coordinating a Lateral-g get together/meeting of sorts. Perhaps a set time and place - like at Paul Clark's Hydroboost.com/Hydratech Braking Systems display.

Just trying to gauge interest and how many Lateral-g members will be (stuck in traffic) there.

I'm planning on it again..........correction..Same weekend as Monterey historics that we book a room for a year in advance so Woodward is out for me this year...Bummer..

Richz68 04-27-2005 05:37 AM

I'm in for sure..... Pauls booth is a great idea! What day are you guys going up there?

markus 04-27-2005 05:56 AM

I should be up there, the cruise is the day before my birthday.

I will defintely be there (hopefully with a couple of out-of state members)....Hopefully Paul will want my car in his display again....We need to meet during the week sometime as well...when we can do "evaluations" (i.e. Rides) in other members cars....mine is open for any takers....

67Sally 04-27-2005 03:49 PM

I missed it last year because I was out on Lake Huron chasing chinook and lakers. I'll be there agin this year...as usual with digi-cam in tow.

Gettin' real tired of it though. I'm ready to be out there in my own car instead of pacing the sidewalks and admiring other peoples cars.

It's gets old....fast.

shessel 05-20-2005 05:47 AM

I'll be there, not sure which car yet though. More than likely take the Nova during the week (I'm one of the ones who starts cruising the weekend before) and the Camaro on Saturday for the Woodward creep. I'd be up for meeting somewhere...

Where is the lateral-g Dream Cruise spot??

XcYZ 08-18-2005 01:32 PM

With the birth of my daughter and doing the HRPT, my vacation time is GONE. lol I really wanted to be able to do the WDC, hopefully next year I can make it.

Look for the Hydratech Braking display, you'll find Trush and his camaro as well as his friend's 68 Camaro.

Did you long haul on PT 2005?? I did and we had a good time. It was my gf's first HRPT. I wish i could see the overage now playing on Hot Rod TV.

XcYZ 08-19-2005 07:07 AM

ok...kewl. I saw you guys a few times. That is a sweet car. I was part of the background shots when DF was shooting pics of the Chevelle in Birmingham. I hope they use those pics in the mag.

XcYZ 08-19-2005 04:41 PM

Right on. I was driving it when they were doing the driving shots of it there. Were you on foot or were you in one of the cars?

I was on foot. I hope to have a PT on power tour next year.

CAMAROBOY69 08-22-2005 07:03 AM

I went to Woodward saturday. I drove up and down the outer stretch torward pontiac then decided to park in the parking lot with the Vipers. Sat and watched the cars go by for a couple hours before the rain hit. Then drove home. Saw 1 or 2 69 Camaros that looked real nice. I was also right next to the bright yellow 67-68 GT500 Mustang. No one would have ever seen me anyway because of what my GF was wearing.
