Here is a post one of our customer has posted on our forum. Thought you guys might be interested......
http://www.ridetech.com/forum/tm.asp...mode=1&smode=1 |
why is he using limiting straps?
|
No offence Darren. That was the persons first and only post on your forum, with no data to back anything up. So I don't believe it as I would not believe anyone coming here and boosting the same thing on any suspension system. Before you post things like that anywhere, you should at least back up his claims with hard testing. I’m sorry if I came across as a jerk, but these BS claims are just that. Claims.

KD,
Not sure on the limiting strap thing. I'm guessing that his air pressure reading were erratic with the old setup and he wasn't confident with what height the vehicle was riding at and didn't want to top out the shocks. Mazspeed, No offense taken. I agree with you, who is to say that this guy in bs'ing us....but I think that goes with any post on any forum. It must all be taken lightly. He is just a random customer that had good things to say about our company and I wanted to share it. |

jeez darren I thought you knew better than to come on here posting something without all the nessecary items.....copy of birth certificate, home address, Phone number, Copy of the title, Registration, insurance card, video of the car before the run, fingerprints of the driver, data logged printout of the run, time slip, Video of the car making the run, eye witness accounts of the run with recorded statements (video preferred), and a piss sample....dont for get the piss sample:soapbox: |

I think anyone claiming something like this who is not a regular poster should provide some kind of proof before posting a silly claim like this, don't you think? Also Darren, and again no offence, but putting that link on this site, the invalidated claims of a 1st time posted customer on what their product can do is a little destructive right? |

I would agree but there are more constructive ways to say what was said. I think you would agree to that? I seriously get tired of people bashing airride....it is was it is if you dont like dont read about it. Simple as that we hope to change the way people think about airride in the very near future. We have a 69 camaro the will sport very well known front and rear clips with airbags instead of coilovers should be interesting |

I agree with mazspeed...one needs to be careful with presenting data that may be unsubstantiated. I guess the reasopn that we didn't question it was because we've seen similar results before from other cars.
Darren...post that link to the G2X data for our Chevelle again. It wasn't quite as good as the Firebird, only 1.2G, but not bad for a 66 Chevelle on BFG KD street tires. |
Just so you all know what i think of Air Ride;

But whats in the " DO NOT OPEN " envelope- i want to know:D |
How would i know????
:_paranoid  Lead. Seriously...Maybe (?) some warranty issues, warning or legal stuff... 'Guess i'll never have any problems of the sort with my returns if need be, as i did what was written on the envelope THEY sent!!! So if a bag rips up open per missuse, i'll just have to say i didn't read anywhere it was mentionned to clearance everything before use and stuff like that. Enveloppe???...yeah, but it said do not open!!! hehe.... |

But whats in the " DO NOT OPEN " envelope- i want to know
hehe...I figured it worked on my 7 year old... You know, the only serious calls we've gotten about that "Do Not Open" envelope is from Canadiens. I have no idea why. |

BTW...I LOVED the AirBar system laid out on the dining room table. My wife just rolled her eyes hard as she walked past the screen. I guess she thought I was the only one. Yeah, baby..there's more where I came from!! |

Brett what spindles are you running on the a-body? Brake package?

I second Bret's comment! Start a thread and let Me/Us know! I need to see more of this radical set up!!! Bret, while we we're talking about this... nice to see you can spell "Canadiens" correctly (thats "Canadian" in French for those that are spellingly challenged...;) ) Maybe thats because you have a lot of support from Can. customers so you are used to it!? (Insert pat in the back to myself here) :D Lead. (Oh, and about the dining part, i only get to put parts that are as nice as the table on there  ) |
Hey guys, glad to see you like it! I've actually got a thread started in the new project section, it is probably on page 2 by now. Haven't had alot to update recently. The car is a '62 nova with C5 suspension components and transmission. The motor is an Aurora Indycar powerplant. Right now the car is at the frame builder's shop, we are doing a custom tube frame with a full cage. I'm using shockwaves front and rear with 18x265 and 18x305 tires. We went with the indy-style setup in the rear because we were having trouble fitting everything in there.
I'll post some more photos shortly. Pete |

We are now including the taller spindle into the Street Challenge packages for the early Camaro and 64-72 A body. |
