CONGRATS!!! Always nice to see :)

However.. is it just me or does the angle of the pic or something look funny.. like the back of the car is floating off the ground? Like they messed with the color or something..

Quite a bonus for the new owner.. and congrats again.. the car sure deserved it!

Congrats!

I must be a retard for not realizing before reading this that it is Jody's old car. I just thought it was strangely similar. The wheels and DSE stuff threw me off and I thought it was a completely other car!!!

That car looks awesome, though. If it takes a car like that to get in a magazine, my hopes of ever gracing pages are completely shot!!! :hail:

Very nice car indeed  ...I heard a rumor it has been sold?? Any truth in it? While I'm at it how much does a car of that magnatude sell for?

XcYZ 05-09-2005 05:26 PM

Yep, it's true, Stuart sold the Alumin8r a while back. While it's sad to see it go, Stuart is already laying the foundation for his next bad ass project.

Thanks guys, the new owner is happy, so I'm glad. Looking for a 69 camaro to be the next project, like to find a great body, not worried about drivetrain. Kinda like a sexy blonde - all body no brains!!! No offense meant. :unibrow:

Stuart...After all the diaper changing & formula making I finally was able to sit down & read the article. Very cool!! Much like Charlie did with the Mule, you took an already killer car, to the next level. Congrats again!!

Are you sure you don't want a nice 70 1/2 for the next project?? I know somebody who has a real nice one for sale...LOL!!! :D

I'll keep my eyes open for ya for a 69.

I don't know about that.. we had a low dollar Maveric in the July issue, a $10k Nova on the cover of August and another non-big-buck car set for the cover of September..

If your car is cool it will get in a mag, regardless of how much money you have in it.. :)

First off congrats to Stuart. A well built car, and a great looking car. I am ready for you to find another car and get started!

Steve, I think thats great how the magazines are reaching out and using cars from normal builders. Although I like to see all out top dollar cars as well in the magazines.

Just got my copy last week.

Excellent photos and article. Great exposure.

Congrats!

Awesome job! :D

Finally got mine a few days ago. I swear every mailman between here and California must read my mags from cover to cover before I get them.

Anyway, congrats Stuart! The write up gives those that didn't know the history of the car a little more insight.

Now hurry up with the next one! :D
