You're in Blooming Prairie, right? How big is your powder coating oven?

Sorry to hijack your thread. I'm looking forward to seeing your car next month.

kart34 05-15-2007 12:57 PM

big oven

We have a new 1 mil. dollar shop 19'ft wide x 34' long bake oven.

Speedster 05-15-2007 01:07 PM

Cool car Jason. I used to have a Midnight Blue '66 SportWagon with the "vista" windows. Sweet rendering you did there. Post some pics when completed.

JayR 05-15-2007 01:07 PM

Thanks for posting the artwork, Jody!

Greg's a great customer and a powdercoater who is also a serious enthusiast! If you need anything coated and anywhere near him, he's your guy!

Everyone should see this wagon. It is seriously decked out with a lot of subtle custom touches. Hope you make it to Columbus, Greg!

G-Body 05-15-2007 06:57 PM

Should be a cool car Really dont think blue is the color for that car, way to big to be blue, cant wait to see the subtle mods good platform to work with just not sure if tha would of been my first pick of a wagon but different is all good with me!

kart34 05-16-2007 05:59 AM

color choice

It's a period correct color called brittany blue (ice blue) very close to the stock color. Hey , would of rather built a chevelle but it was a buy it now on e-bay for $2500 with 18 and 20 Intros on it with magna flow exhaust and a 455 in it with a turbo 400 . It was a great start to the project. And like Jason says Not many 67 Buick wagons at Good-Guys events.

gearheads78 06-03-2008 03:23 PM

What no Rushforth wheels? :D Car looks great. I really really like the interior. Any plans to bring it to the Goodguys Lone Star Nationals? I would love to look over it in person.

buickfunnycar.com 06-03-2008 03:29 PM

Love them Buicks...!

Interior and subtle touches are off the hook...awesome long roof!:hail:

XcYZ 06-03-2008 08:09 PM

I've see the car in person, it's awesome.

kart34 06-03-2008 08:38 PM

Well we will see , I would love to bring it to Texas for the Lone Star Nationals.
Maybe I can park it next to one of Stoked Out Specalties Buicks ? About the Budnik Gassers , we had them so we used em. Trick wheels easy to keep clean. The 62 Bubble Top will have Rushforth wheels on it. Thanks guys for all the nice comments we used this project to test and promote powdercoating. So far it has done it's job and we will also test new coatings on it in the future.

Ha! Thanks for the plug but I do draw client's cars with other brands and I drew that car up for Greg way before I started my brand. I'm just stoked to see it about to hit the streets and can't wait to see how it does at GoodGuys. I think you're going to need that cargo area for trophies!

That is one of the coolest wagons around and one of the baddest Buick street machines ever. How pretty are the lines on that car?!?!

Have a great weekend, Greg! Congratulations!

AWESOME
This is the badest ass Buick I have ever seen
Good Luck at Indy
This car will knock em dead

Dirty Doug 06-04-2008 08:28 PM

Wow! The door panels look great! And the seats turned out with a real comfortable look. It sits right, and the air cleaner and vale covers are killer! Wish I was going to Indy Buddy, I know a few places there.

Interior

By the way who did the interior?

G-Body 06-05-2008 08:15 PM

The detail is remarkable!
Is it just me or does that color just not quite seem to fit that car!
Now mind you its a fantastic build but the colors and paint designs just dont feel right for that car! That and the 4 drive belts all together seem to be a little much. but hats off nice see something different for a change:thumbsup:

Nope, it's just you

Color and Belts

I Think There are no other colors that would work better on this car
Many thanks to Rushforth Design
The Car is Killer
The Motor Has a double V belt drive and a polished billet pully set
Maybe he could back off on the wax
nobody I know would use 4 v belts look at the pics again
do you have any other complaints ?

sellsaturn05 06-09-2008 03:15 PM

1 More Thing

You WILL need room If you Keep Showing It

Dirty Doug 06-09-2008 05:33 PM

It's just you Pro Fleetline... This car shows awsome!

Ya really gotta see this car in person. The color comes alive in the sun. It looks like a stock color with a little something more to get your attention. Just another part of the great detail through out the whole wagon.
