SurfWagon
I know this isn't a true G ride; but I don't have 50k yet to put into the suspension and drive train so I have to take steps. This was enough to get it this far in the last six months so now I can least enjoy it. Level 1 almost done-rebuilt engine, tranny, interior, and new paint along with Air Ride to keep things a little more smoother. It's not a rocket ship, but it's really, really clean ride. Future will bring billet wheels and sound system hopefully next year...and if I really like the wagon I will look into doing a radical suspension and drive train upgrade someday in the distant future. So far I really like the wagon since it's so different. You just don't see AMC wagon's anymore. Think of it as a turtle working on it's way to beat the hare. Hope to give guys more ideas about something different to do.

Front end was banged up and wrecked a bumper, grill, and both fenders...Ouch! The frame though was not damaged much and it was rust free! |
now thats a kewl ride!!!!

i for one love it.
also, i think a wooden roof rack, like the kind they used to have on vw bugs would be pretty awesome, as well as a retractable ragtop sunroof. just an idea. |
BRO!
A set of these and your set! http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...ase/CoyC51.jpg John |
Now that is cool! The stance and wheels look great! Not a huge fan of sea foam green but it works on that car.
|
I think it's killer - the color even looks like the beach.

I am a little biased towards AMC wagons but that is a sharp ride. I actually think what sets it apart is the stock style rims. Great photshop but might get lost in the sea of wagons with the big rubber. It does look good though.
Love the shape of the1/4 glass forward pillar. If you lean that rear pillar inward also that would have one killer roof line. Not that it doesn't already. |
Thanks for the complements, and the photo shop is cool...gives me an idea of what it would look like w/ Billet wheel...I like it! I will just have to get some more funds. Went with the stock color to keep it ...classic looking and timeless. Even with a billet wheel, all I have to do is put the stockers back on and it looks old school. I might even put some white whites and have a set of billet to change it up.

Being an AMC junkie I can guarantee that you will not get lost in the sea of wagons....... Car looks great! I run two sets of wheels on my Rambler, one set of billets and a set of steelies with dog dish caps to fit all occasions.

i based this off of the previous photoshop...i thought a choptop would be cool with a tint and in blue or red....forgive my poor photoshopping skills im just learning
