Evil Genius

Own a consulting company that mainly does work for the audio industry. About 50% consumer product design and QA and 50% product manufacturing support (like the machines that make speakers etc...).

For those that do not know, I live in Shenzhen, China, just across the border from Hong Kong.

I agree, the site is basic, but no need to take a shot like that. I have many ongoing projects of far greater importance. Worrying about development of a website for a car that is literally 12,000 + miles from me is not a top ten priority.

It is only to the efforts of a couple of good friends- Jeff Y. and Scott G. that I even have a website presence at all. Both of them have volunteered their time and creative effort well beyond the call of duty to assist and often provide turn key solutions despite my crazy schedules and time to reply as I travel for business.

BC69 05-12-2005 07:46 AM

I have yet to join you all in the work force.

I am a freshmen (for two more days) at Boston College. Double Major accounting and finance, minor in economics.

Summer Job, unsure yet, we will see next week.

PhaseShift, I certainly hope that Eric didn't mean for that to be a cheap shot, as he is very well aware of what will fly at Lateral-g.

Sometimes it's hard to read the "sarcasm" in peoples posts.

Job

I wanted to be a male stripper in college, but my Mother said she would throw me out of the house. I applied for the "love slave" job, but it was taken. So I settled for being a State Farm Insurance agent and a spender of my kids college education money for a silly camaro project.

For some reason that is everyones reaction when I say what I am doing. Doesnt anyone want to be an Investment Banker these days

I think I am ready for whats ahead, I hope. But only plan on getting my butt kicked as Investment Banker for couple years...then Harvard MBA program. They have some nice alumni benefits and the salaries are insane coming out. This year first year associates outta MBA programs at Goldman got nice $250,000 CHRISTMAS BONUS...so I cant imagine the rest.

But who knows, I could go out into the woods and become an artist one day.

I work for a screen printing/embroidery/ASI company. We mainly do t-shirts for businesses and schools, but we can also get pretty much anything imaginable with your logo on it. I did the hats for RFR Custom Fabrication, and I just put an order out for some little dash plaques for the Pro-Touring.com get-together in Pigeon Forge. And I remember seeing condoms with company logo's on the wrapper. Among other things... Heh, to think of a lateral-g in a different way.....

I am a Chassis/Suspension Designer. I used to be a contract puke inside GM at the Warren VEC but I changed that last October by going to a Tier 1 supplier. I am doing the exact same work I did inside but now I am getting paid to do it and have been on O.T. since I hired in! I am at work right now (on lunch break, of course) so I am pulling down big bucks today...
