Any Electricians in Flordia?
 

Guys this is a weird request, but I'm in dire need of a product that is being test marketed in Florida and no where else. Lutron who makes light and plug switches and high end lighting systems has come out with a test product that I have been bugging them to build foe a few years, and now they have, at least to a test market. It's a duel dimmer switch with a remote that is only sold in a few Lowes stores in Florida. I have a list of places, but was curious if anyone could go in and find them, then ship them to me. I will pay for time and product. I have a client that is in need/want for this new product. Problem is, the product is not in their computers and you would have to manually check for the item.

Ill tell you what this dimmer switch combo does. It allows for one remote to be used on a set wired lighting system in a room. If you have a his and her's area in bed, she can have one remore to turn off her light and leave yours on while reading, and vise versa though the same remote. You can get this now in a Homelife kit for $2500 but this is a new option for under $100. I'm not sure what the price is, but that's what I'm being told. If anyone can help me get one, Id be in your debt.

I'm in Tallahassee, so I could look if they have them here. Besides, I'm always ready to go browse at Lowe's or Home Depot. :)

It's a Lutron Mastro RF product.

I don't know if it's a "2" or a "Z"

I have checked a few lowes stores and the Lutron rep said that it's not in the Lowes computer which makes it harder. It's a 2 dimmer pack with a remote inside of the package.

I have a Lowes (Altamonte Springs) on my way to the shop. I will check there tomorrow. I think Pushrod is near a different one in Sanford or Longwood

Well, I went to Altamonte Lowes and Home Depot both, no luck. I am heading to the other side of town near a Lowes in Oviedo, I will check on my way back.

Thanks Frank. I know Home Depot does not have it at all. It is a promotional product from Lutron though Lowes only. :willy:

Strike 2. At the second lowes, I asked the guy to check other stores inventory in the local area and he saw nothing. But it is possible they renumber it.

Is it a digital dimmer, a slider, knob? The only double packs I found were digital, but had no remotes?

Yeah, the only pack i have seen was two like the left one and no remote.

OK, got someone to help me. The guy at this last Lowes called Lutron for me. The final word from Lutron is that they are brand new and are 2 to 3 weeks away from shipping. I can order one now and get the first one, but it will be a while until it comes in. They retail for $142.99. Let me know, i will be happy to order one if you give me the word.

Well the guy at Lowes says he will take our order. I am daytriping tomorrow to North Carolina to look at a couple nightmare projects, doing the expert witness thing for a guy that got stung on two builds. I will be back tomorrow night.
