Another part someone needs to make
 

was at a show yesterday and saw the coolest thing.
a partial firewall cover.
top is held in by the cowl vent panel and has a 90 degree bend down the firewall.
it went about 1/2 way down the firewall and was held in by the booster and some fabbed hold downs off the upper heater box.
It was a 1 off piece the guy made and doesnt plan on making anymore.
All the camaro guys were asking where to get one .
wish i took my camera to the show to take some pics.
It really made the firewall pop.

Sounds like a good idea. Jake Parrott (Jake's Rod Shop) could easily make those. He has access to water jet and precision bending equipment. Was it steel or aluminum? Painted?

It was aluminum polished.
but im more inclined to go with polished stainless .
It also had a rubber edging around the entire piece (something I seen in the MSD catalog)
there was also cut outs for the wiring etc.
why not make both?
