85 Vette LS2 Project Update
 

Its been a while - so here is summary and update for those that are intereted.

What is it?

-1985 Corvette with 91-96 body panels

What is going in it?

-Crate LS2 - drive by wire with a 4L60E trans and TCI guts

What other features are there?

-2004 Vette 13" brake conversion
-2007 18/19 wheels
-94 Vette seats
-Complete VB&P spring - Bilstiens - poly bushings

Future mods -
L76/L92 heads/Intake - GM hot cam

WHere we are now:

Waiting on the last bit of GM parts (accessory brackets, PCM, and sensors that don't come with the crate motor).
-Next it will go to Current Performance to make all the electronics work - then I have to wrap up the interior, weatherstrips, etc. Working with IMCO for some killer stainless muffs out back.

Plan has been to have the car ready to drive to Carlisle the end of August. While that isn't a deal breaker if it doesn't make it - it will be the first time I have ever missed a deadline if we don't. There has been a big delay in getting the non-performance GM parts.

Very cool, Chris! It really sucks when you're forced to stand around and wait for parts to show up, though.
